If she has any intention whatsoever of running, I’d greatly prefer that she make that clear as soon as possible. Not really interested in getting strung along again . . .

Not if the RNC has anything to do with it. I believe she’s been told and the reason is she’ll call out the corruption on both sides of the aisle - in fact already has and this has earned her the animosity of the ruling class.

We The People could elect her except that the media did too good a job trashing her already.

This has become a corrupt country full of stupid people.

Yes unless she was born in Asia or Kenya.

The only way she has a chance, assuming there is an election in ‘16, is to abandon the GOP and go third party.

The GOPe doesn’t want her, the ‘conservative’ talking heads won’t stand up for her, and the Republican Party won’t find a way to combat voter fraud from what I understand. Therefore SP has no chance at all as a GOP candidate.

However, if/when she did make that decisive move to stake her claim in another party, I guarantee millions would follow and support her. Many more millions would soon follow. And so would the money.

One thing she has going for her, is a slew of conservative office holders and Governors who owe her.

In all seriousness, whoever plans on running in 2016 had ought to start getting their campaign machinations in place now. One lesson learned from 2012 was that Romney was able to finally secure the nomination in big part to the fact that he had more or less been running for the past 6 years with a well-oiled (and financed) machine behind him.

I’m betting an 0bamatollah E.O. says there won’t be a 2016 presidential election.

I don’t think you’ll see any real return of a constitutional republic short of revolution/overthrow/CW.

The imam and his fatso wife are already gearing up to the turd world strongman lifestyle. Or old Romania’s.

Sarah was a big disappointment. She was AWOL when we needed her. She was AWOL completing her governor’s term. She put her stupid family on reality TV. Having said that she has the right big ideas. Shed needed to step up to the plate and be our leader like Margaret Thatcher. Now we have lost the country and have to fend for ourselves as conservatives!

I agree. I also note that through the fall Palin noted several times in the course of her Fox News appearances that Romney had been running for so very long.

I think in 2008, when the Party bought all those clothes for her family, then the MSM made a stink about it, when she in contrast glanced over to the McCain family she noted that it’s a lot easier to run at the national level if your family has adequate personal resources.

She took to fixing that fairly deliberately, and my guess is that this time around, one way or another, she’ll take to getting a prospective campaign in order early.

I left the Democrat party when it moved too far to the left. It seems the Republican have also been moving to the left and so it is time I leave the Republican party.

For years I was against the idea of a third party because it would only weaken the Republicans, split the vote and result in a loss. Not anymore. The elite leadership has made it clear it no longer shares the values of their more conservative members. They want our money, our support and our vote, but not our values.

I am not going to say there is no difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. The Democrats want to change our nation into a socialist utopia quickly, while the Republican elites want to change our nation into a socialist utopia slowly. So there is a difference.

I live in California, I am a conservative and I doubt if my one vote changed anything in the 45 years I have been voting.

So going third party is not going to matter in the short term. In the long term perhaps it will. I just no longer know.

I will be changing my party affiliation soon.

On to the question, is a third party viable? Yes. Political parties have gone out of style and have died off only to be replaced by something else.

I think one of the primary purpose of a political party is to allow like minded people to band together and use their combined influence to provide opposition to those with different views and to their agenda passed.

Currently the Democrat and the Republican party only seem to differ in the speed of our destruction.

The Republican party is no longer and obstruction to the Democrats. For all practical purposes they no longer exist anyway.

A conservative third party would at least give us a voice that we do not have now. I still believe we are the majority in this nation, we just do not have a focal point to make that truth clear. A conservative third party may just do that. Besides, what do we have to lose that we are not losing anyway?

We simply CANNOT nominate a CONSERVATIVE.
Period.
It is ordained in the stars that the GOP must ForEVER nominate milquetoast “centrists” who gracefully but firmly throw each and every election.
Nicely, of course.
Bush I, Ford, Dole, RINORomney,...............etc.
