On April 4, Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy signed 139 pages of gun control legislation into law, effectively telling the $1.7 billion gun industry that has called his state home for more than a century they are no longer welcome.

Speaking for Colt Manufacturing, which has been in Connecticut for 175 years, president and CEO Dennis Veilleux said, "At some point, if you can't sell your product then you can't run your business... You need customers to buy your products to stay in business."

Other prominent Connecticut-based gun companies include Mossberg, Ruger, and Stag Arms, all of which are being wooed to pull up stakes and move to gun-friendly states.

In addition to the annual $1.7 billion in revenue that Connecticut would lose if these companies left the state, they would also take approximately 3,000 jobs they provide for Connecticut citizens with them as well....

Wow, that made me think of something. Obviously, Vegas is a prime location for the SHOT show. I wonder if there would be talk of changing that if Harry Reid double crosses gun owners in the Senate?

Documentation File on the harmful impact of the Counterculture of Communist Obamanation on Freedom of Choice in America.

Portions of this File are also useful for the Impeachment of the legal citizen of Indonesia Barry Soetoro, also known as B. Hussein Obama, a confirmed Communist.

I suggest they move to Arizona and join Dillon, Vltor, and American Spirit Arms. Ruger also has a plant in Prescott.

You’re going to be very surprised. There is a LOT happening behind the scenes in the firearms industry. I’ll just say that we’re putting a shock and awe campaign together that is going to leave not only state governments reeling, but the Federal Government as well.

Maryland, Connecticut, New York, Colorado, etc. are all about to feel the impact of the consequences of these anti gun laws. Their law enforcement officers better get good with bows and arrows real fast.

Communists like Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy have no regard for capitalist businesses that bring wealth and jobs. The citizens are just indentured servants who are dependent on the state ruling class.

What we need to do is buy one share of the CT gun makers stock. Then introduce a proposal to move that will have to be voted on at the next annual meeting.

O’Malley is going to end up the same way as his buddy Parris Glendenning. A has-been nobody working for a no-name farm lobbying organization and cursing the little people who didn’t recognize his progressive genius.

HIs Maryland antics don’t play well outside of Maryland. Hell, they don’t play well INSIDE Maryland either, there’s just too many brain dead slobs here who always vote for the D. I know a lot of Dems who are pissed about the gun stuff too, so maybe there will be a little shift to the right here next election...

I have a cousin, a died in the wool Democrat.

He will complain about he taxes, and the crazed laws, but he will defend the a-holes that make them to the hilt.

It’s like they wear blinders.

“I would be very surprised if any of the gun manufacturers move out.”

Umm, suggest you prepare yourself to be surprised. Per an article on Yahoo, extracted from Dallas Morning News I believe, Colt competition has already secured a site in Breckenridge, Tx and is advertising in the local paper for applications. About being too difficult to move; I have managed several Green Field start ups and its not that difficult, especially if its led by a superb Start-Up Mgr such as myself :)
