Rep. Andy Harris, Maryland's sole Republican representative in Congress, is receiving attention for comments he made on WMAL radio Tuesday about last week's verdict in the trial of George Zimmerman.
"We're hung up on this one case where this one fellow was in fact found not guilty by a jury," Harris said during the interview. "That's the way the American law system works. Get over it."
Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch volunteer in Florida, fatally shot Trayvon Martin last year in a case that captured national attention. He was acquitted of second-degree murder and manslaughter charges on Saturday, sparking protests around the country....

A lot of other 17 year black males have died in the last year - apparently they're not as important as Traydmark (TM).
There's even a twitter hashtag called: #17YearOldBlackMalesMurderedinChicagoSinceJanuary1 that makes for melancholy reading.
Is this the only GOP congresscritter that has spoken up so far on the pro-acquittal side?

I had to watch blacks after OJ was acquitted dance in the streets like they won the lotto..dancing around, hopping around like bunnies screaming “YAY YAY the juice is free.” White people havent been doing that since Zimmerman was acquitted, no joyous celebration, the right decision was made, it was self defense, the people who don’t agree with the verdict..MOVE ON..get a hobby, find a job, go to school, do something, but leave Zimmerman and the rest of us the hell alone. Im sick and tired of trying to appease these race baiters, they will never like us, they will never listen to reason so why the hell bother

Also, I predict Fedgov charges will NOT be forthcoming with its so-called "continuing investigation". Holder is just playing the political game and pandering to the liberal voter base. It would be extremely difficult while knowing the original FBI investigation report cleared Zimmerman of any racial motive, not to mention all those who have come forward saying Z is not a racist and his background shows he has been supportive of blacks.

FACTS: Young black males are 1% of the population and responsible for 27% of homicides.
FACTS: 92% of all blacks killed are killed by other blacks. The race baiters would do well to focus on that and do what they can to to make things better for the young people. Like focusing on education, staying in school and teaching responsibility.
FACTS: Fact is....” in the 513 days between Trayvon dying, and the Zimmerman verdict, 11,106 African Americans have been murdered by other African-Americans.” Racist cherry picking to get the results they want is what the DEMOCRATS do. Democrats are RACISTS; some unknowingly.
