therefor what.... nominate the squishy guy I didn't say that; I was simply pointing out that the statement "a squishy Republican Presidential candidate always loses" is incorrect on its face.

Don't lose hope. A talk show host here in the Denver area has posited that he will never again see a Republican president in his lifetime.
He may well be right.

Everything hes done points to winning the nomination. If he doesnt have a heart attack, he could be WH bound. My estimates of his chances:
Winning the nomination: 75% Winning the Presidency: 10%

It would so nice if we could have a real conservative get the nomination. It's always possible, of course. But a replay of 2012 is much more likely. A number of true conservatives will enter the primaries and split the vote. The GOPlite will win the nomination.
Having said that, any GOPlite is better than the lib alternative.

May be not to the same extent, but I am done with the Bushes for sure. GWB was a huge disappointment. I honestly do not know much about Christie and how he is governing in NJ.

I believe that person should be Herman Cain. Santorum for VP again.

Nope!
Santorum is just another big govt liberal RINO establishment leftist who is pro-life - i.e. another GWB disaster.
Cain is not presidential material.
Get on Cruz control - Palin for VP. They are our only hope to save America from the leftwing communists.
We need only ONE strong conservative to avoid splitting the primaries and we get another McCain & Romney liberal - i.e. Krispy Creme Christy.

We should be identifying a Governor to push in the R party. Governors trump Senators most of the time.

My “Party” is American Conservatism.
I always vote for the most conservative candidate.
I don’t have tantrums, stay home and let the communists win, just because my first choice didn’t win.
I also only donate to true conservatives, directly.

Normally I would agree but we have one last shot to save America.
We need 1 individual who “gets it” - i.e. knows the path to recovery is following the Constitution and can articulate that “radical” idea effectively.
There’s no doubt Cruz is the person and the leftists know that and why they are focusing their attack machine on Cruz.
If you watch & listen, the marxists will always tell us who they fear the most.
It’s Cruz....and Palin.

If you vote for a liberal(R) you are helping the communists get what they want. People that vote for liberal(R) candidates are part of the problem. Not the solution.

First, Pro-Life is NOT liberal.
Second, if you believe the path to a more conservative government, is to sit out the vote in protest, to “teach them a lesson”, then YOU are part of the problem.

Anti gun and pro-big-government ARE liberal, though. And those automatically don't get my vote. Ever.

"Hillary can be beaten." Correct. Just not by Christie.

I’ll vote for the most conservative candidate in every spot on my ballot. If the Republican is a constitutional conservative, that will earn my vote. If the Republican is Chris Christie, he can sit and spin.
Pretty simple.

I'm sorry, but Palin shattered my illusions with her staying out in 2012. I don't see her doing anything now -- what we need are proven politicians who have entered government and yet not been tainted by it -- Cruz, YES, Jindal yes
Palin needs to govern something now for 2 years and she'll do it well,
