Absolutely NOT! I would not want him as President. However, he does not deserve this crap that he is getting this week.

I agree.

But he spoke the truth here.

Maybe it was a calculated move and he is reaping the benefits now.

O'Reilly had a Democrat strategist, Alexis Mcgill Johnson, on his show for a segment about Huckabee's comments. Johnson intentionally misinterpreted Huckabee's comments in a truly hateful way. It is impossible in 2014 to have an adult conversation about any of the Democrat's favorite issues.

Given the current nature of Democrat politicians and their wholly owned news media, I don't see a happy ending for America. This was once a wonderful country filled with responsible people, but no more.

Well that is certainly true. I don’t believe we have been 100 percent on any topic in my 8 years on Free Republic. So just enjoy and I am sure that you will be telling me I am “wrong” on some topic or person later on. It is bound to happen at some point.

Huckster is a pro-life GOP-E liberal with a record for spending and tax increases as well as “bleeding heart” for releasing criminals.

Only a “GOP-E Republican” could believe the fairy tale Huckster would be a “fine president”.

Huckabee is a progressive and not going to be president for good reason.

That said, this recent attack on him is unwarranted.

This incident points up the fact that Republicans/conservatives have to choose their words and themes with great care. Liberals can say and do any damn thing they want, and will not be called out in the media. Conservatives will be crucified for saying certain things.

Democrats only have to run against Republicans. Republicans have to run against the Democrats and the media.

Even with all his incumbent and media advantages, Obama was only reelected with 51% of the popular vote. A Republican can win the presidency in 2016, and could have done so in 2012. But the candidates have to run flawless campaigns, and/or go around the media as much as possible, to win a presidential election. And, flip some states back to the GOP.

"I personnaly think Hukabee would make a fine president."

Mike Huckabee compared illegal aliens to slaves brought here in chains from Africa. He said that we now have a second chance to do things right.

No, thanks.

So does Huckabee’s good liberal buddy, Willard...

and Willard thinks Christie would too..and some other RINOs..

In fact Willard thought so highly of Christie he almost chose him as his running mate..

“This is a time for Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Jeb Bush, Mike Pence, John Kasich- a long list- Marco Rubio. There are a lot of folks who should have the chance to be our nominee and I’m going to support the one who gets the prize,’ he said.”

............

Romney’s camp considered the New Jersey Governor as a possible vice presidential candidate and selected Christie to give the coveted keynote speech at the Republican National Convention and ended up selecting Wisconsin Senator Paul Ryan instead.

Everyone has differing opinions. I think some get banned for being rude, aggressive in their beliefs to the point of exhaustion, arrogant and some other type of “behavior”. Definitely not for differing opinions or all of us would be gone.

and remember when that black guy on SNL said “Who are all of these black women?”(what was his name?) it was his response to Mick Jagger assuming that all black women wanted sex all of the time. So is this how Democrats feel about white women?
