Hill: Rubio Gaining as GOP Establishment's Preferred 2016 Choice.

Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio is garnering support from mainstream Republican fundraisers and contributors for a 2016 presidential run, according to The Hill. Those backing Rubio are antagonistic toward the tea party and see him as an alternative to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who faced new allegations over the weekend that allegedly implicate him in the "Bridge-gate" lane-closing scandal.

The senator's presidential stock has fluctuated. A year ago Time magazine hailed Rubio as "The Republican Savior" only to see him displaced by Christie after Rubio fumbled delivering the GOP response to the 2013 State of the Union Address. Rubio also antagonized conservatives by supporting Senate immigration reform legislation, according to the Post.

I'd have never thought 3 years ago that Rubio would be the GOP Establishment's choice. I must say, I'm disappointed.

All the proof we need that Rubio is a phony.

Reality check: He crashed and burned by supporting amnesty, making his switch from tea-partier to Crist-ian, Christie-ian dhimmi for Obama.

After entering the Senate as a Tea Party favorite, Marco bought the favor of the GOPe by going full blast towards amnesty. The GOPe may be willing to overlook his Tea Party past but I'm not willing to overlook his amnesty present.

What the GOPe “needs” is a leader that they can control from the sidelines.

If the preferred “GOP Establishment” candidate is nominated I’ll be voting 3rd party.

Millions like me will do the same.

This is how political parties die.

Rubio will never get that Gang of 8 stench off his shoes. He really stepped in it by hanging around them.

Notice how he was the poster boy for the Senate amnesty bill, until the votes were cast. As soon as the voting was over, the ‘new’ faces of the amnesty bill were Shumer and McCain making the rounds to the newstalk programs.

Rubio was had.

More recently, the old faces have been pushing Ryan to the forefront on amnesty.

The GOP Establishment endorsement should be viewed as an endorsement from the Lame Stream Media and/or the dnc. IOW, a KISS OF DEATH.

They keep cycling around with the same phonies. Christie. Bush. Rubio.

Time for a new party.

Just saying. Tea Party.

(I know, it’s not time to bail yet. But just saying, maybe it’s time to bail.)

Already, we have seen in recent weeks that ...

Romney is the new frontrunner,
Huckabee is the new frontrunner,
Christie is the new frontrunner,
Rubio is the new frontrunner,
JBush is the new frontrunner, etc.

Whoever has a preference is writing articles about their preference.

These frontrunner claims are nothing more than early propaganda.

Want a frontrunner? Commission a poll, have it written in a way that gives your preference the edge, and publish the results as your preference being the new frontrunner. If the polling, however, goes a different direction, just dump it in the trash or, if it is an online poll, claim that the site was hacked and that caused the results to be skewed.
