Sarah Palin, who announced a number of midterm endorsements recently, signaled a spring awakening for fellow mamma grizzlies this week, throwing her support behind three female House and Senate candidates on Thursday after backing Iowas Joni Ernst the day before.
The latest Republican recipients of the Tea Party stars coveted imprimatur are Florida Senate Majority Leader Lizbeth Benacquisto, whos running in her states 19th Congressional District; and former Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel and Minnesota state Sen. Julianne Ortman, both of whom are U.S. Senate candidates.
All three endorsements were announced on the former Alaska governors Facebook page, and all hit upon a familiar theme: her support for true conservatives.
Lizbeth is running against a wealthy self-funded candidate with lots of splashy campaign ads claiming to be a conservative, Palin wrote in an apparent reference to Curt Clawson, who was endorsed by the Tea Party Express. Look at a candidates record, not just their rhetoric. Lizbeth is a genuine conservative with a track record to prove it.
On her own Facebook page, Benacquisto said she was [h]onored by the support of fellow conservative and patriot Governor Sarah Palin.
Handel was endorsed by the GOPs 2008 vice presidential candidate in 2010 when she ran unsuccessfully for governor of the Peach State. In 2012, the pro-life Handel resigned her position as vice president of the Susan G. Komen foundation following her efforts to cut funding channeled from the breast cancer nonprofit to Planned Parenthood....

“Purist”! /s
Glad you’re posting Vet
I hope they turn out better than Jeff Flake and Kelly Ayotte.
You do know that her success rate is between 69 and 90% right? Ted Cruz, for instance, says he wouldn’t be in the US Senate without her.
If they pass the Sarah Sniff Test, they’re alright with me.
If they fail us (and/or her) their life expectancy will be too short to do any lasting damage.
Love You, Sarah! Keep fightin’ the Good Fight! *SMOOCH*
God Bless you man!
Been off awhile, myself. Good to see you back filling the ether with good stuff.
My ideal ticket at this juncture is Palin/Cruz 2016.
Palin bump!
Neither of those two was ever a conservative Tea Party candidate.
It will be interesting to see how the tuition bill for illegals goes in the Florida Senate.
If it passes it could help Rubio and Jeb Bush fall even further.
SB 1400 is now in the Senate Education Appropriations Subcommittee, where the Chairman, Sen. Bill Galvano, opposes the measure. Senate President Don Gaetz also opposes granting illegal aliens a tuition break but has not said whether his will use his power to block a bill.
But Wil Cardon was an evil wealthy businessman. I wonder how Wil would have voted on bombing Syria, amnesty, ENDA and other issues.

One of Congress’ leading opponents of earmarks has a history of writing letters to federal agencies highlighting projects in his district seeking federal grants.
The practice of members of Congress writing to federal agencies to request funds is commonly known as “lettermarking” as opposed to inserting a directive for funds in an appropriations bill, known as earmarking.
Kelly Ayeotte? I wouldn't call her a complete RINO just yet. She's a hawk on national security and has made her mark in the Senate.
Well at least we can be thankful Juan McStain isn’t running for Saxby’s seat or she would be endorsing him. :-)
McCain selected Sarah as his Vice Presidential candidate in 2008.
McCain.
Palin recognizes that, and will never turn against McCain.
Ever. That is not the way Palin is. I think we just have to put up with Palin supporting McCain.
Sorry but that’s the way it goes.
That said, I strongly believe in Palin.
She doesn’t have a real clue about McCain, but otherwise she’s completely on the ball.
Looks like Ted Cruz is the same way:
In 2009, while working for Morgan, Lewis, Cruz formed and then abandoned a bid for state attorney general when the incumbent Attorney General Greg Abbott, who hired Cruz as Solicitor General, decided to run for re-election.

The problem is now that Palin is endorsing people who are not really tea partiers she is becoming a problem. I like Karen Handel is OK but she is more of a moderate. Paul Broun or even Phil Gingrey are pretty hard right. We need hard right or things will never change.
I actually like Ted Cruz quite a bit.
However there is one issue he has raised several times, which I strongly oppose him on.
The problem is, not only does Mr. Cruz support this, but so also does this website.
And everyone else here I believe.
I won’t say specifically what that is, but I alone here seem strongly opposed. I do not want him making a big deal of that thing.
I just don’t.
Otherwise I am 100% for Ted Cruz.
He can win, and I can support him. But I cannot support him on that one issue.
I just cannot. So I am sort of waiting to see.
I am ready to support Cruz 100%.
Just that issue...
FReepmail me, you’ve got me curious...
She’s not forcing ANYONE to support those candidates. It’s a free country, you can send money to whomever you choose.
