As much as I wish she was I think she isn’t running, hopefully she won’t do the same dog and pony show she did last time.

Faint praise and a criticism. Maybe SP will change her name, move, and start selling aluminum guttering; I don't know.

Imagine!

Abolish the IRS with institution of lower taxes by a flat or fair tax, strong national defense the number one priority, drill here, drill now, fast track approval of refineries, immediate passage of keystone pipeline, downsizing of all federal government departments, especially the EPA, decreased regulations, repeal of Obamacare and return to the best medical care in the world, welfare reform, voter ID required, voter fraud arrests and indictments, vastly expanded 'fast track' energy policy, lowered corporate income tax to the lowest in the world, manufacturing sector incentives, (return manufacturing to the USA), a serious border fence, free market capitalism with emphasis on small business and business research incentives, 'liberty constitutional amendments' passed by congress, return of true religious freedom, conservative 'liberty ' universities, state control of education and curriculum plus reteaching of American History and science, math computer education second to none, US out of UN, 'sensible' supreme court nominees, celebration of American exceptionalism, serious tort reform. . to name a few. Can you think of some more?

Just Imagine!

Is Sarah Palin serious about 2016?

No. No one who is serious about winning a nationwide election would have made the comment about baptism by torture. At this point, she is pandering to her fan base and nothing more.

At some point, she seems to have realized that several factors, including the decision she made to quit as governor of Alaska sunk her chances of higher office.

Before anyone decides to try to school me on why she "really" quit, consider this: if she couldn't figure a way out of the issues she was having in Alaska, she doesn't qualify for the presidency. The problems America faces are huge, seemingly intractable, and don't just go away.

Sarah Palin got 2% in the CPAC straw poll last month - not the numbers someone so well-known would need to even think of taking to donors to finance a run for the presidency.

Would love to see Sarah Palin run. She has a unique perspective on problem solving that cuts through all the malarkey.

Seriously? 400 large in personal debt defending yourself because of 18 lawsuits with Soro's like dupes behind everyone of them and she refused to ask the State to pay because it wasn't the way Alaska was run isn't good enough for you? What would you have done in your life if the Progressive Minions took that much out your hide? Give me a break....

Her best chance to run was in 2012, and we needed her to run then to make sure a conservative could take out Romney, but instead she sat out and handed the nomination to him. I used to like Sarah and I still agree with her on the issues, but that constant teasing of: will I run or won’t I run? and then backing out really hurt any Presidental chances she may have had. I really hope Cruz runs he’s been taking a lot of flack lately, if he doesn’t run I’ll be upset with him like I was with Palin.

Hey I’m on your side, I used to be a fierce Palin supporter, but that dog and pony show really turned me off and I imagine it turned off others as well. I wish she would have run and she didn’t, it was a weak republican field in 2012 without her in it and conservatives were fractured with who to support and Romney got in by default. Sorry, if I’m mad that in 2012 Palin was a strong conservative candidate who could have mopped the floor with the other Republican dwarfs, Romney and Obama, but then backed out after a two-year faux campaign.

Is she serious about the Republicans winning the White House? Yes. Is she serious about running herself? No.

No. I don’t think, sadly.

I do think she teases the idea, not to frustrate conservatives who want her to run, but to make the liberals flip out. She has a lot of power over them and she uses it.

Last time around, I was upset that she teased then bowed out. This time I’m going to enjoy her titillating the main steam media morons, with no expectations on my part. Then if she really does run, it will be a sweet surprise.

She never came close to declaring her candidacy. You assume that had she done so, she would have floated in on a groundswell of goodwill and positive press coverage to capture the GOP nomination and retake the White House. Easy, big fella. Just because she came close to helping John McCain beat Barack Obama they BURNED HER CHURCH TO THE GROUND with women & children still in it, filed frivolous lawsuits against her on a daily basis and made her name a curse word. How much would they have racheted that up if she’d thrown her hat in the ring is anyone’s guess, but I’m thinking they would have started by burning down her residence, assaulting her children and somehow planting drugs or pornography in her home. Were you paying attention when Sandra Bernhard threatened her with physical violence by her black compatriots, David Letterman claimed that her 14 year old had sex with an adult baseball player and most every other media & Hollywood figure either ridiculed or threatened her? She doesn’t have Secret Service protection like Mr. Obama does. Do you know how expensive round-the-clock personal protection and security is? I do, since I’ve worked in the field and a good friend owns an agency. There’s a reason only the very wealthy have such protection. Even most big name celebrities only hire bodyguards when they’re attending a public event or going somewhere dangerous.

“If I were in charge” means she was speaking as if she were President.

You can’t a run a country like you would your personal Christian walk.

The Bible never even suggests such a notion.

So you’re only voting for the candidate that vows to “turn the other cheek”??

Either way, shame on you.

If it’s the latter, shame on you + LOL.

The latter. But that stuff goes on FR regularly by genuine PDSers.

I starred in the role of a pretend PDSer by feigning agreement with a few suspected FR PDSers who give faint praise to Sarah Palin and then backhand her.

I picked the wrong thread to highlight my disapproval of this constant reminding of Palin's presumed past sins and shortcomings. Some understood; some were not sure. I've communicated with several FReepers about this. Most have responded, others have not yet.

I chose the wrong method to attempt this. I failed to make my point well enough.

Do you often chastise the real disrupters on FR who slam Palin much more than I pretended to do yesterday? If so, thank you for the deserved shaming. If not, why not?

I was waterboarded in Army. It’s not torture. Really.

Thank you for your service. The military waterboarded their own men as part of the training. Thousands of times more soldiers got water boarded than did the enemy.

Nope. She’s a grifter, only in it for the money.

So what was you buddy Dick Chaney in it for. He got quite rich. Should he have avoided all that money?
