There have been persistent reports that Boehner will not run for Speaker when the vote occurs in January next year.
There was some stiff resistance in his last run for Speaker, so I would not be surprised. It feels like he's in somebody's pocket, not just Obama's, so I have no doubt that you are correct, and Boehner will use the lame duck session to push it through.
Big Business and the Democrats will quietly reward those Republicans who push amnesty through.

so when do we get the trains to ship out the Mexicans- barring that we’re still screwed. I want my trains.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who caught Hewitt’s shock at seeing what real conservatives do- as opposed to the frauds and poseurs he cultivates as guests.
Hewitt first dropped his carpetbag in California about the time we were trying to pass Prop 187. And good RINO that he is he opposed us.
Hugh has a long history of promoting amnesty that goes back at least to 1994, although sometimes he lies about his record and tries to pass himself off as being concerned about the invasion of illegals. He’s not and never has been.
Like his pal Medved he uses his radio program to try to sell a liberal GOPe agenda to his listeners. Michael Medved appears to be reverting to his leftist roots more and more, and his flirtation with anything resembling conservatism was just an anomaly.

(If you do not deport it is amnesty by default.)

That is what I am afraid of, The dem’s do not need a lot of Repubs to vote for amnesty. They just need “bonehead” to bring it to the floor, and I bet he does. I wonder of the Republican Party will support Brat in the general election

Don’t know Hewitt, but Medved is an unabashed statist and smug elitist from Yale.

You know somebody else who feels a little nervous? Rubio, formerly a member of the Gang of Eight.

Smug is right. He also likes Bill Clinton but does not like Hillary. I believe he and they has said they went to the same school at the same time.
