Top Jeb Bush adviser Mike Murphy, who did not even pay attention to Dave Brat's campaign like Breitbart News did, has falsely been claiming that Cantor's embrace of amnesty for illegal immigrants was not the reason he lost last Tuesday.
Liberal writer Mickey Kaus had enough of Murphy's nonsense and slammed him on Twitter on Friday evening. Kaus became Brat's de facto press secretary and top advocate on Twitter in the last months of the campaign because Kaus, like Brat, opposes amnesty for illegal immigrants because it would hurt American workers. He mentioned to Murphy that talk radio host Laura Ingraham turned out 600 people at a midweek rally that was "all about amnesty." Even Mort Zuckerman and Eleanor Clift have said there is "no doubt" that Cantor lost his race because of the amnesty/illegal immigration issue.
Breitbart News reporter Michael Patrick Leahy covered that event in which Brat and Ingraham blasted Cantor for his embrace of amnesty. Contrary to what Murphy believes or perhaps stereotypically thinks of voters in Virginia's seventh congressional district, people can listen to talk radio -- and Ingraham's show -- on the Internet. That's how Dodger fans, for instance, can listen to Vin Scully calling Dodger games on the radio and wishing listeners a "pleasant good evening" on the East Coast, even though east coast radio stations obviously do not carry Dodgers radio broadcasts....

B/c no one believed that Constitutional fable, Cantor doubled down---he later offered a new explanation for why he supports granting amnesty to individuals brought into the country illegally as minors. It's “Biblical,” he said in a local radio interview.
That "revelation" offed the sucker but good. So much for Cantor's gulling the voters---endorsing a measure intended to dismantle US ntl security.

THE FACTS ARE THESE---The Senate amnesty bill is dangerously flawed, and its glaring omissions WRT protecting US ntl security, cannot ever serve as the basis for useful legislation.
By legalizing illegal aliens w/out shoring up law enforcement, we hand an engraved invitation to global Third Worlders----all of 'em salivating to ride the US gravy train.....each separatist group conniving to achieve its hidden agenda.
Amnesty recklessly opens the door wide for illiterate, low-skilled aliens, born and bred in savage cultures, here to suck up US benefits and take jobs away from Americans.
Third Worlders may, in fact, contribute their labor to the US, but their loyalties are elsewhere----they have no intention of becoming Americanized....of participating as equals in American culture, revering our vast history, or preserving American values.
The Senate amnesty bill is a blueprint----it amply demonstrates that illegal separatist populations intend to usurp the US political system to advance their own hidden agenda.

Actually, Brat’s POPULIST way of being anti-Amnesty was ingenious. I’ve been fighting it on the demographics - if we really let in what will become 30,000,000 (at least) illegals, we become a one-party state (Reps won’t have a chance in elections, unless they become virtual clones to Democrats...and in that case we still lose), and we also will likely have to make Spanish an official language of the country. But that takes several decades to fully play out...so who cares (LOL).
But the populist approach is MUCH BETTER, because it’s today. The moment you give them a Green Card they are competing against Americans, for American jobs. Give out millions of them virtually all at once - all hell will break loose. And NO ONE can make a racism claim against this approach with credibility - it could be 30M Japanese, or Brits, and the result would be the same.
It was BRILLIANT and hopefully some of the other REPUBLICANS can learn from this.
