Wanting to discourage conservative voters in the short term, and using standard brainwashing techniques to affect their thought patterns in the long term.
I think it is dumb idea to make such sacrifices. The next democrat president will never give up Air Force One for raising campaign cash.

Don’t miss the point: what you say is 100% consistent with the agenda of a leftist troll.
One possible explanation is that you have been subjected to the same brainwashing technique and are not aware of it.
The brainwashing technique is this: an individual or individuals demonstrates the expression of pessimistic comments hidden within the context of espousing a conservative ideology. This happens repeatedly, and then before you know it well meaning conservatives are expressing the same pessimism.
Meanwhile, the pessimism/cynicism conditions large numbers of conservatives who hear it to come to accept, over time, defeat without putting up a fight.
Ted Cruz will be the next POTUS. Your post is discriminatory. You just can’t stand the idea of a Latino on AF1. Or in the Casa Blanca....

okay, what are they going to do? what are they going to do that you and I want done as conservatives?
what will mccain do?
what will graham do?
what will boner do?
what have they all said they are going to do?
what have they all said in the past they were going to do and haven’t done.
what I believe is that if we win the senate, that will give the republicans control of what actually gets discussed and voted on, if and when.
that is an improvement.
will they stop his eo’s? no.
will they do anything to the executive budget? no.
will they take back any powers delegated to any alphabet agencies? no.
will they abolish the irs after all the crap politics and coverups going on? no.
will they even pass laws to stop public schools putting muslim sharia garbage in classrooms while kicking christianity out? no.
will they vote to defund planned parenthood? no.
will they vote to defund obamacare? no.
will they prevent liberal judges being installed? no.
will they impeach and remove obama, the one thing they certainly would have the votes to do? no.
All I am saying is that we shouldn’t kid ourselves that anything major will get done. especially not with the current rino/gop-e leadership staying largely intact.
Our own leadership targeted conservatives.
I am still voting tomorrow. I am going to relish voting against democrats. I am just not kidding myself anything conservatives regard as substantial or vital will be done. Holding the line will not be possible because they will not pass laws negating obama’s eo’s which is how he’s going to roll the next couple years.
Our guys always talk tougher and go right at election time. McCain sounds right wing whenever he’s up for re-election. we’ve all seen this before. Acknowledging it exists and saying I’m not going to believe it, that’s what I’m saying. If we had lots of conservatives in office and the leadership was theirs, I’d have a different outlook. We don’t. It takes time. That doesn’t mean I have to sit here and believe rinos and gop-ers who are faking being conservatives to get the base ramped up so they can drop the kabuki and go back to being who they really are the next week safe for another 2 or 6 years.
And as I said to another, I would genuinely and desperately love to be proven wrong. I just don’t believe I will due to the inertia and hatred of conservatives that exists in the current gop dc leadership.

I’d love to be proven wrong. Have you seen anyone besides Cruz with an inner anger at what’s happening to this country, focused to really fight Obama and the democrats? I mean FIGHT and if there’s going to be compromise, it’s the democrats that are going to compromise, finally?
Instead of the repubs being incrementally dragged towards the libtard’s progressive goals via “compromise”? It’s the damn Hegelian Dialectic and the democrat socialists use it all the time, and our sellouts like McCain care more about compromising with his friends across the damn aisle and bashing the tea party and Cruz for not caving in in the spirit of the rino ‘gee i wish the democrats and media would like me’ republicans.
If you want to think I’m brainwashed I personally could care less. I won’t drink democrat koolaid and I’m certainly not gonna drink what the rinos and gop-ers are serving me either.
Until we get real conservatives with balls who don’t mind fighting, in in a majority of seats we are not going to get any major changes that we want to see.
