And with a solid control of congress and senate, the GOP needs to put an end to the President using Air-Force one for "Casual Affairs and Vacations". Being congress controls the purse, what they need to impose on the President is this. You want to use Air-Force One for fundraisers and partying with your buddies in Los Angeles,then You Pay For It! The President has millions of dollars, so why cant he pay for the fuel? What does it cost to fly the 747? $350,000 an hr? And who pays for it?

Until we as a Nation repent and turn our hearts again to the Living God, I believe that the curse will remain.
Unfortunately, there’s probably nothing that can be done about this. He is the Pres, like it or not (apparently, most don’t), and he needs security and communication.
There are PLENTY of other things FAR more wasteful and corrosive to go after in January.
It must be a Democrat thing - there are stories about Johnson just about cleaning out the White House and Air Force Once of everything that wasn’t nailed down when he left office. I expect the same here.

AF1 should be at the disposal of the President. Period.
The problem is that AF1 and all the security that it entails is considered a necessary accompaniment of the President.
I don’t want the Leader if the Free World constrained in his travel. Campaign mode or not, if the President is out meeting people, I’m fine with that.
The Presidency isn’t a sentence. Our President should be free to travel at will.
Honestly. People need to look past the current pResident when making policy recommendations that would only serve to hamper future Presidents.
