I don’t think Hillary has a chance against anyone, really, and I suspect we’ll see her leave the field for some totally made up reason.
The other possibility, though, is that she is running mainly to protect herself against intensive questioning by the various panels about her underhanded activities, because as long as she’s a candidate, she’ll always be able to claim that they’re politically motivated.
I think there’s a very good chance she couldn’t win, too. But I think the only way she is going to leave a campaign and quit now is if she’s dragged out kicking and screaming after losing another nomination or carried out at room temperature.
To her, the destination she seeks is Gollum’s “My Precious”.
I agree.
Liberalism as an ideology is severely wounded by Barack Obama having foisted it upon the country. The Democratic Party has destroyed itself with Obamacare.
Her plan is to present a "blank slate" on the issues, as Obama did. This will not be acceptable to the American people, this time.
Conservatives will turn out to vote against her in historic fashion. Lesson learned. Many apoliticals, "mushy middle", if you will, will stay home, unlike 2012 when Obama was on the ballot, IMHO.
Oh, and she's up to her neck in scandals. The scandals will matter.
She’s also running because she makes a lot of money running.
