I’m not puttin’ my man Cruz on some old clunker! LOL!

Nah, I’m getting that cool sign Bastogne keeps posting with the eagle and that baby’s going on my Challenger. I’ve paid for insurance my whole life and never had an accident, so if I get vandalized, so be it. About all I do is go to Walmart and church these days anyway, and Walmart has good security cameras on their lots.

I might check out the GOPRO you mentioned because I like that kind of stuff. Thanks for the tip.

Whoever gets the loudest applause will win the nomination!

That's what supposedly got Willkie nominated in 1940. What an awful candidate, and Nixon considered Wendell Willkie, Jr., for VP in 1960, along with Gerald Ford but went instead with the second Cabot Lodge. He actually thought Lodge could win MA for him over JFK! And JFK had beaten Lodge for senator in 1952.

I have watched every JFK news conferences on TV. I can’t think of any politician since 1963, who has more charisma than JFK. He would have won in 1964 in a bigger landslide than LBJ.

The conservatives I talk to who don’t like Cruz just say he is not electable. They don’t dislike him. They fall into one of two types: older people who rely on Fox News and believe every word on it, even from blowhards like O’R and Rove; and people who call themselves “realists” who say he doesn’t have enough X Factor and is too tied to evangelicals. These latter still hate Bush (unlike the Fox News devotees who seem to actually like him, damn you Fox), but are pinning their hats to Walker or Rubio.

They try to get me to see their “realism” but I am hoping Cruz veers to the more secular problems of the nation and that his brilliance is modest* but unavoidable in all speeches and debates. I hope he reminds ALL Americans that the Constitution is what they should love, and what they all need to live life their own way, and that the dems and GOPe have failed to revere and adhere to it. I’m praying that he is the one who can explain the miracle that is America and how it is all but gone because the Constitution is no longer taught in schools, and we have allowed tyranny into our government. And what he will do to bring freedom back to all of us. ALL OF US.

*some say Cruz is too know-it-all, so I hope he is understated while brilliant.

The fact is liberals alone can’t elect a president (although that scenario is not far away) and conservatives alone can’t elect a president. There is always that 20-25% mushy middle which determines winners.

It really does not matter how brilliant a candidate is, or how stupid for that matter. What pulls in that mushy middle is “connection”. If they “feel” the candidate is trust worthy and will look out for them, they will vote for him/her.

Right now, no one really knows who that GOP candidate will be. My own wife could’nt tell names of 3 candidates running in 2016. The campaign has not even begun. No debates have taken place. Personally I like all the new candidates who have not run before. No one is cast in concrete at the top of my list. Except I can not stomach openly amnesty candidates like Bush. There are pluses and minuses with all of them.
