I think if Donald burns out Ted will welcome his people in
This writer is not going to be one of the brighter political analysts.
My opinion is that Cruz knows Trump is not going to go the distance, but Trump might be willing to throw his money behind Cruz further down the road...Just a thought
16 years of presidency between the two would make the left move to Jupiter and them to commit suicide by sword lopping off their collective heads.
He thinks Ted will likely drop out. I guess he missed the news that his team is approaching $100 million in donations. People with that kind of campaign cash and grassroots support go the distance. Hell, Santorum had nowhere near that amount yet he came **this** close to beating Milt.
Even a paltry $50 or 100M would make a huge difference.
I’m a Walker guy, and I think that Trump/Cruz would be the perfect team.
Unbeatable..
No way Trump is going to bow out, does anyone think that someone so focused on winner could even CONSIDER dropping out now, and go down in history as a LOSER?
No, he burnt his ships on the shores of America, he’s now totally committed to fight to the death.
Trump’s game and his gimmickry only serves to promote Trump. Anything the Hairpiece says - good or bad - is only for his own purpose. He has - and will - turn on conservatives (liberals too) when it suits him.
I trust Ted is smart enough to know this and use Trump’s comments only when they truly support conservatism.
If the enemedia is successful and they link Ted and Trump as one and the same in the eys of most American sheeple - then its game over for Cruz.
I think it would be more like Trump being Ted’s running partner as in VP.
I’m telling you its a tsunami for CRUZ. Just my humble opinion, of course.
Cruz even has a bead on literature: he recognizes colorful speech as opposed to “hate” speech. I’m so excited about him!
I think you’re right.
The advantage of Trump/Cruz is it would give us 12 or even 16 years to save the US.
No it’s not. If Don Trump is “unpopular” why is he #1 0r #2 in most polling?
I am sticking with Cruz/Lee as the best ticket.
But there ought to be a cabinet position for Donald somewhere in there.
.
I never said Trump was unpopular.
Oh yes, he’s very popular and charming with the sheeple.
And polls? Worthless and meaningless at this point.
I never understood how people were fooled in 2012 when Trump ran for presidency then, only to betray conservatives. I don’t understand them now.
Ooooh, I like that one!
I agree. I think he was playing at first, but now that it has cost him dearly he is going to do whatever it takes to win.
The authors are on drugs or something
I don’t recall Don Trump running in 2012. That would’ve been a big story, I would think.
