Weeks of financial backlash for his disturbing comments calling Mexican immigrants "rapists" and murderers have failed to slow down Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's stride. If anything, he's getting worse.
During speeches on Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada, Trump brought on Jamiel Shaw Sr., the father of a 17-year-old boy who was killed by an undocumented immigrant in July 2008, to make the case for his proposal to build a giant wall on the border with Mexico.
Trump is tripling down on the anti-immigrant rhetoric: Shaw related the tragic tale of his son's death but made time to specify that some undocumented immigrants allow their children to grow up "like a wild animal." Shaw talked about the threat "sanctuary cities" pose to public safety, a reference to policies in some cities designed to prevent the deportation of some undocumented immigrants back to their country of origin on the basis of minor crimes like traffic violations....

Lol.
That's pretty much the crux of it all.
Link to Trump’s speech today.

Trump and Cruz will blow away the field in the debates.
Nice!
...I’ve never seen so many threads on one politician. Trump...
He has struck a cord by verbalizing what millions thought, but wouldn’t say.
I read somewhere that Trump had something like 40% of the overall comments on social media last week. Libs are having apoplectic fits and are foaming at the mouth.
I was a Walker guy.
I think his campaign just died in utero.
I actually agree! The difference is that I think that it is a good thing!
He had shred the stage of poser, elitists, and other Republican possibilities.
Now, let’s see who can stand up to him in the debates?
That is a good thing.
We no longer need Democratic look-alike folks running for Republican office, thanks only to those that would expose them.
No one, really, and Jebito is about to go down hard.
I hope the Trump and Cruz camps start talking about an alliance real soon.
Bush isn’t left standing, he’s cowering in a corner waiting for someone to tell him what to do?
Debates, shemates. I think it's all over, 'cept for the voting.
I suppose the debates will help the already defeated fold their tents and go home.
Time for Donald and Ted to start working on their end game strategy.
Warms the cockles of me 'eart, it does.
Thus proving it has nothing to do with skin color and everything to do with attitude.
P.S. He only has black pals here - given he's a quarter black himself.
Poor Jeb, he can’t figure out where his strategy of calling conservatives dumb bigots who need a grown up him to teach them better went wrong.
You are wrong and so are so many dedicated Republicans here. Trump is bring to light the idiocy of the Republicans when dealing with illegal immigrants. I’m sure that other things will follow.
If you actually believe what the Republicans are saying about all of this then you are NOT a Republican anyway - that means that Republicans and Democrats are no different.
What I’ve believed the last few years anyway... Now Trump is challenging the system. Me, I love it!
Anyone who thinks different is probably living in the world of the 1990’s or earlier. Those time are gone folks and the dishonesty of the Democrats has been proven true. What are you going to do about it?
Why not just tell the honest truth. Why use PC speech?
Good way of putting it. By my count, I can see about fifteen tents that need folding.
Oh no, I think...
And that attitude is passed on and absorbed when one is in diapers. It's the only thing that saved me.
I bet that thought scares the crap out of the MSM.
