Trump might have been pushing CNBC, but it was actually better for him the way CNBC wanted to do it.

Trump and Carson win would be an appropriate headline, giving credit where due since both signed the letter.

You need to elaborate just a bit as to what his demands were and the changes CNBC made.

Will CNBC manage the outcome where Republican candidates insult, demean, mock and trash each other? Gee, that's odd, I didn't see ANY OF THAT DURING THE DEM 'DEBATE' which was not really a 'DEBATE'!!!

The pubbies need to have a meeting and AGREE NOT TO FALL VICTIM TO MARXIST CNBC'S AGENDA OF GETTING THEM TO TRASH EACH OTHER. NO ONE WINS WHEN THAT HAPPENS AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE MARXISTS AT CNBC WANT!!

I’d say CNBC made a stupid deal with the sponsors.

Donald Trump Campaign Raises Specter of Boycotting Next Debate

HarleyLady27 to conservativejoy

After they talk to Fox and they find out how millions of dollars Trump cost them by the boycott, believe me by this afternoon they will take it all back and say sorry, we stepped out of line...

Trump knows how to bring people to their knees...and he will break this mess into little pieces....

Rupert Murdoch thought he was the greatest thing that ever happened by owning Fox, until he made Trump mad, and then the crying was loud and fast....

Hit people in the wallet and it works everytime...

GO TRUMP GO!!!

Let the OAN network get some love and ratings. They should host a debate. have Sarah Palin on the debate panel. How cool would that be?

Who would have believed?

Your concern for Trump’s wellbeing is heartwarming. Kind of like when the New York Times gives advice to Republican candidates.

Because Trump does better at the questions and back and forth parts. Reading statements doesn't really play to his strengths. If I were his campaign manager, I'd prefer it that way.

But this suggestion by CNBC was never going to stick anyway, because that just isn't debate protocol, and most the candidates would object. I think Trump is the only candidate who it would give an advantage to.

I have defended Trump at least a half dozen times the last few months. I call them as I see them. For instance, when Hillary said he caused the Charleston church shooting, I said that was ridiculous. And when one article said he was anti-Semitic. He may be liberal, but he’s not anti-Semitic.

Obviously, he didn’t think so.

You mean the ones where he says he is "very smart" 23 times? (Actual fact)

He doesn't need to repeat the same speeches over and over.

"network will cave to his debate demands"

They make it sound like The Trumpinator mercilessly crushed them, body and soul.

Trump's requests were minimal. and quite reasonable. I also hear that Carson and Cruz requested the same.
