Surely, there must be some explanation of Donald Trump’s poll numbers, right?
Well, according to an interesting experiment conducted by the Morning Consult, Trump^s numbers need more explanation. It is not why they are so high. It is why they are so low.
Numerous poll watchers have spotted a trend in Trump^s numbers. The billionaire former reality television star consistently polls higher in online polls than he does in polls conducted over the telephone by a human questioner.
For years, live polls have been treated as the gold standard in the industry, producing what experts have considered to be the most reliable results. As a result, the live interview polls conducted by high-profile media organization and polling firms often get the most attention from reporters and pundits. However, online and automated telephone polling is much cheaper, and both have been getting more reliable as polling companies learn how to navigate a relatively new environment for their work. And when it comes to Trump voters, they may be more accurate.

This upcoming general election may well be the most crooked in the history of the Republic as the Marxists will do anything, repeat anything, to remain in power and destroy America as founded. Hillary is petrified about Trump nomination because she has first hand familiarity with Trump, and she knows he is exceptionally smart and never a push over like Romney.
I think the MSM is beginning to realize that Hillary is full of crap and unlike the novelty of Obama, moderate voters aren’t going to fall for liberal antics again. Moderate Dems and Moderate Republicans were the ones hardest hit over the last 8 years.
They all want 3 things. Someone to protect this country, someone to bring back jobs and someone to lead. And pretty much everyone who isn’t holding a copy of Rules for Radicals knows that Hillary doesn’t have any of those qualities.
Only Trump and Cruz fit the bill.

I’m with you if all these die hard democrats I know voting for Trump it’s going to be a blow out. Never seen politics this way ever and I have been involved since I was able to vote.
All polls have an inherent normalcy bias. They are all based on the theory that the present and future will be like the past. Trump has already proven that 2015 is not like the past.
But it would be a big mistake to assume 2016 will not be like the past.
Reportedly many Trump fans are not registered to vote. Why have they not registered to vote? Why do we hear no reports of voter registration booths at Trump events? Why do we hear no reports of Trump activists registering friends-n-family to vote?
The future will be like the past in 2 very important aspects. You must be registered to vote. You must show up.

Trump is the people’s stick in the eye of the political establishment. Remains to be seen if he can translate that into a winning strategy.
All good points! Knowing how Trump operates, I am certain he will address that issue diligently. And it is an issue, as you point out, because Trump has attracted so many new voters who were not enthused with professional politicians before.
Trump is one of the very very few candidates, indeed politicians, who speak to issues of American citizens. The rest seem to be running for president of Mexico and tripping over themselves to see how Muslims they can bring in to the country. Add to that the entire democrat machine has called white men racists non stop for 7 years. That’s a big voting block to piss 0ff.
By the way in this Washington state, you can register at any post-office, DMV office, and many other places, and perhaps on-line!
And 100% voting in this state is by mail! No need to drag your butt to the polling booth.
My wife talks with former obama supporters every day, ones who are gonna vote for Trump. She also says she thinks there’s a lot of people out there who are gonna quietly vote for Trump without admitting it or talking much about it.
