For Christians, the stakes couldn't possibly be higher in the 2016 elections, and presidential candidate U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) believes he can be the leader the nation needs to help turn things around.
To do that, though, he knows he needs the support of a broad coalition--the former "Reagan Coalition"--of which evangelical voters make up a big voting bloc. And, as a result, his campaign has aggressively courted evangelical voters in South Carolina.
"I believe we need to reassemble the Reagan coalition, to unite conservatives and libertarians and evangelicals and women and young people and Hispanics and blue collar workers to build a grass-roots army of courageous conservatives, sharing common values and reigniting the promise of America," he said Thursday. "Our pastor and faith leader endorsements today are a strong signal that the Reagan coalition is in fact coming back together, especially here in the Palmetto State."
The Cruz campaign released a list Thursday morning with more than 300 evangelical faith leaders from South Carolina who have endorsed the Texas senator. Pastor Mike Gonzalez of Columbia World Outreach Church, who serves as South Carolina state co-chair for the Cruz campaign, said the list speaks volumes about the candidate.
"While the endorsement of a single pastor is important, over 300 pastors and faith leaders endorsing a candidate like Ted Cruz sends an amazing message about Ted Cruz's character, his consistent conservative record, and his defense of our shared values here in South Carolina," he said.
The Cruz campaign said it has more than 11,000 in-state volunteers making 50,000 calls and knocking on more than 7,000 doors daily. It also has campaign chairs and faith leaders in each of the Palmetto State's 46 counties.
The complete list of South Carolina faith leaders who have endorsed Ted Cruz for president follows...(continued)

Probably not.
I agree, you can’t wave a cross w/one hand and a pitchfork with the other. Folks don’t know which one they’ll get.
I bet Ted will do better than most folks believe. The polls have shown to be skewed. We will see.
I’m sure God will come down and intervene on cruz’s behalf personally. Maybe that is what drove the pope to endorse cruz.
What are you nattering on about now?
The Pope gave Trump the best endorsement
Nope
Cruz is so desperate. When you get like this in a campaign, it means it is trouble. Cruz is reminding me of Bush now.

Yeah. Obama did the same.
Obama: Best gun salesman ever, best Trump salesman ever.
Pope: Second best Trump salesman.
Share it with 2ndDiv,he seems to believe cruz is the face of God.
Except for the part where Cruz is winning and Bush is losing, right?
any endorsements from Christians ???
I agree with you and Glenn Beck that Cruz is the savior of the Republican Party and God had to send an angel to put a pillow over Scalia’s head to kill him so that we all can vote for Ted Cruz
No...
Do they still buy you folks Uno pizza and Zima? Or do they even make Zima anymore?
So you’re saying these 300 people aren’t “true” Christians in your book? Why would that be?
