If they are, they’re sure being VERY QUIET about it...but then again, we’re talking about the TEXAS REPUBLICAN PARTY, the only Republican Party in the country that can control 2/3’s of their State House and still elect a Democrat as Speaker.
It’s about 6 seats below 2/3, which allows fifteen or so liberal Republicans to join Democrats to name the Speaker.
