Sounds like Chuck knows something big and bad is on its way for Hillary. And he wants to distance himself from it ASAP.

In 2004, nobody much thought that a junior Senator from Illinois was even on the radar, and he horsed his way into pushing Herself aside back then. The Democrats have not put up a serious male candidate for President since the Former Occupant of the White Hut won the reelection in 2012, and probably won’t again for perhaps a couple of decades.
There is no possible atonement for this specimen. His body of work is not fixable.

I had a similar thought, but it was more along the lines that the Russia/Russia/Russia narrative is killing them and he knows it.
Wait until he sees how we feel about the Special Prosecutor's overreach - past Russia, past campaign, and into business finances. That too should scare him.

I wish Democrats would get there act together. Put forward something same and stopping the Russia crap and all the impeachment talk. I want the Repukes gone but the Democrats are giving people nothing to work with
If they take impeachment off the table house Dems will win big in 2018 and they’ll end up getting more done with Trump and as a result they will sweep through the Senate in 2020. That’s what I can see coming if the Dems get off the anti Trump ledge...can they? Will they? Time will tell
I don’t think even Schumer is so delusional as to think a New York Communist who looks like a villain demanding the virginal daughter in lieu of a mortgage payment is going to be elected President.
