Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez used her appearance on MSNBC — following President Donald Trump’s Oval Office address on Tuesday night — to demand the president explain why ICE shouldn’t be abolished.
Ocasio-Cortez began, “No one should feel unsafe in the United States of America. And that includes our amazing and beautiful and productive immigrant community and moreover, the one thing the president has not talked about is the fact he has systematically engaged in the violation of international human rights borders — human rights on our border.”
During the president’s speech, he explained why he felt the border wall was essential to protect American citizens. Congressional Democratic leadership delivered a counter-speech immediately after Trump finished.
“He talked about what happened the day after Christmas on the day of Christmas, a child died in ICE custody. The president should not be asking for more money to an agency that has systematically violated human rights,” she continued. “The president should be really defending why we are funding such an agency at all because right now what we are seeing is death.”
The eight-year-old Guatemalan boy who passed away did so after receiving medical treatment for a cold and a fever.
Ocasio-Cortez added:
“Right now what we are seeing is the violation of human rights. These children and these families are being held in … basically freezing boxes that no person should be maintained in for any amount of time let alone the amount of time they are being kept on. And moreover, even if you’re anti-immigrant in this country, the majority of immigrant overstays, the majority of the reason people are undocumented is Visa overstay. It’s not because people are crossing a border.”
But, but, she tweeted a video of her dancing outside her office. That shows she, uh, well....

The sum total of what she knows is what she reads in the Op Ed section of the NYT.
Now that she's a "government official", she gets quoted in the NYT... regurgitating what they published yesterday. She states it as fact, since in her mind the NYT only writes facts. Now that a real Congressperson has said it... its confirmed... its officially fact. Any garbage she repeats... is coming from a real congresswoman.
In the end, she only gets one vote in Congress. She's nothing but MSM noise.
I'm pretty sure Nancy is scared sh!tless of Cortez. She can't control her, or anything she says. You watch and see, if by 2020, Nancy isn't dancing to Cortez' tune.
There's a generational shift about to occur in the Democrat party, and Cortez is the face of it.

She also needs to explain why she supports human trafficking (which is modern slavery) and drug trafficking. And to explain how it is moral or ethical to keep letting increasing numbers of illegal aliens get on the welfare rolls, driving up the debt and increasing the burden on working taxpayers.
The coddling, pampering glorification of Herself has made her believe that she poops ice cream and that there is an extreme shortage of spoons.
She is incoherent - and that is fine if she is brain damaged, drunk, recently anesthetized, or just got bonked in the head.

I have to disagree with you. She is the Second Coming of Obama. Valerie Jarrett has been on Twitter talking her up, and it’s obvious some powerful democrat movers and shakers are pushing her to the microphone ahead of the Old Guard like Pelosi, Schumer, et. all.
She’s getting some serious backing to be the one they ask to show up on the MSM as rebuttal for Trump when she’s been in office for just a few days.
Man, this is gonna be a fun two years, if she even lasts that long.
