Democrats now hold three of the four House seats in Iowa too. Don’t assume that they are safe anymore.
Not that long ago, a study of UAW Union employees working building cars was shown that their wager per hour covering all the payroll taxes & the pension costs was $68 an hour.
There isn’t a car built today that is worth that kind of hourly wage.
A Buick Enclave is being advertised locally-—and it’s price without ‘incentives’ is $55,495.
That is over twice the price I paid for my first house. It is 38% of the price I paid for the house I currently live in that is on 5.58 acres.

I don’t have anything to compare that to. It sounds like a lot, but it includes Social Security/Medicare contributions, and I presume it includes health insurance. What do other employers pay when you include all the bennies and government “contributions?” An easier comparison, for me, would be their hourly wage.
I don’t see ever getting a Buick Enclave. Not a new one anyway. Actually, I don’t imagine ever getting another GM product.

I do think that w/ the current Dem mess, there’s opportunity here for ‘20.
