Democratic professors outnumber Republicans by an almost 9 to 1 ratio, a new study has found.
The study, published Friday by associate business management professor Mitchell Langbert of Brooklyn College, and Sean Stevens, director of research at Heterodox Academy, reviewed the political registrations of 12,372 college professors and found that 48.4% were registered Democrats and just 5.7 % were Republicans, a ratio of 8.5 to 1.

Only 9:1??? I thought the University HR departments were better than that.
I’d be curious to see the ratio when you leave the liberal arts and go into mathematics, chemistry, physics, engineering... the hard science areas. I bet it evens out quite a bit.

My EE teachers seemed largely conservative.
The 11% Republicans may include a lot of professors who were Democrats when they were hired 30 or more years ago but got wiser as they got older.

That is why many of our voters are so stupid. They have been fed lies for decades.
Back at my university, MOST leftard instructors were in the liberal arts. Ironic. But at the Business department which was my major, they were mostly libertarian. They did not cringe when they said “profit margin” or ‘ROI’.
Professors wise up as they grow older?

That is not just occurring in colleges. The el/hi school systems have pretty much followed suite.
Not as much as you would think. Even those departments are under tremendous pressure from University HR departments to shift their hiring criteria. It does shift from the 9:1 ratio but that will change.
Education needs Affirmative Action and Diversity.
Where are the Judicial rulings?
Are they just fat lawyers in black dresses?

That and sheer laziness. Dems have a narcissistic tendency too. They like to be the center of attention and in control of their little world.
Classrooms are a basically a captive audience where the dim dem prof's can ruin the most amount of minds.
Once the left got a foothold into our education system,it was all over for America. The left pretty much owns government also. Not much standing in the way for the final nail but 2A and patriots.
Probably 3:1 in engineering & hard sciences. Better but still shameful.
Nothing "democratic" about them.
