A Harvard study, which linked pollution to coronavirus deaths and made headlines in prominent publications, has revised its numbers, prompting calls for an EPA investigation.
The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health study, published on April 4, initially claimed that the numbers of coronavirus-related deaths might end up 15% higher in air polluted areas. The Harvard researchers corrected their estimates later that month, cutting the percentage by almost half. They now say pollution would lead to an 8% increase in coronavirus deaths in places with a higher level of air pollution. The study still hasnt been peer-reviewed.

Chinese numbers would be through the roof then
India, Bangladesh numbers should be in millions.
Anyone out there still believing Harvard about anything?
Really?
(I’ll grant exceptions to their physics/math group. At least the still have some standards.)
Harvard knows all about slipping it in.
If a peer-reviewed study is altered after review it is fraud, pure and simple.
LOL. Much ado over worthless guesswork. Politicians are such suckers.
The are making the case that Airliner grounded and cars not on the road is saving lives
....to counter the argument that lives will be lost in the ensuing economic depression.
The study still hasnt been peer-reviewed.”
No sh*t,
They are making the case that Airliners grounded and cars not on the road is saving lives...
....to counter the argument that lives will be lost in the ensuing economic depression if business is not opened up soon.
I just saw an old episode of the show “Modern Marvels.” Ep was titled “Doomsday Tech” in 2004. After their Gore bull warming manure shovel about how it was going to destroy us all, the show went on to give expert predictions of how the world will run out of oil in 2011.
.
“The study still hasnt been peer-reviewed.”
So why the hell was it published?
So it turns out that high density urban areas will have more covid transmission and thus mortality than low density rural areas. Whodathunk it?
Sure there’s correlation. Higher levels of lead in the air is known to cause stupidity.
And it takes lead level stupidity to tel everyone it’s racist not to go join the thousands of people at the Chinese New Year celebrations in February 2020, or to force nursing homes to admit people with contagious coronavirus which then killed half of the other residents.
“...Anyone out there still believing Harvard about anything? Really?...”
Ummmmm....No.
At one time it was a very prestigious school...one of the best.
Today? Not so much anymore. It’s become a bastion of socialism/communism. Why would anyone want to send their kid there to be groomed by such insane idiots?
IOW, it's just more DNC talking points, the "researchers" are just liars.
Sure. Friday's news dump was that Jeffrey Epstein had an office with Harvard's P.E.D. program.
I can believe that.
(FWIW, news reports changed references to just "the program".)
the study’s authors are with covid scaremongerer Marc Lipsitch’s Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
