Kat Cammack says this bill just passed the house but it has not become law. She says we can still call our senators. She said to do it in the next couple of days and so that was yesterday and today!!!!
Tell them you want them to tell them to VOTE NO on the voting rights act (falsely labeled as the Nasa bill). Tell them you want a response. She said this is very important.
Go to senate.gov and tell them we want our constitutional elections as our founding fathers envisioned them with the states determining the time and manner and place in which they are conducted.
The House of Representatives voted to federalize our elections. They are calling it the "Nasa Bill" and it has nothing to do with Nasa!!!! It is a federal take over of elections.
This bill allows non citizens to vote!
This bill strips states' rights to show voter photo I.D. This bill makes it fine to harvest ballots and this law makes it so that states cannot stop the ballot harvesting which is a breeding ground for fraud. (1.7 million crossed over into America illegally just last year alone.)
This is also public financing for a 6 to 1 match for donations to politicians that receive donations of $200.00 or less. That means the taxpayer's would have to pay for politicians political campaigns for every 200, taxpayers would match that times 6!!!!
Everything about this bill is treasonous!

This bill is horrendous...treasonous!!!
Can you imagine, let's say the democrats put a terrorist as a candidate because that person would do there bidding. Then they bring in all their illegal people to vote for that person and this treasonous bill aims to make that legal. This is absolutely criminal. Really the people who put this bill (that just passed the house,) should be tried for treason!!!! They should be stood before the American people and give account of their treason.

The NASA Bill is a shell bill designed as an end around play to circumvent the filibuster. This is the VRA and John Lewis bill combined into one. The DemonRats are horrible people.
Would it still require a 60 votes in the Senate to be passed by Filibuster?
Or will they use some “deemed to have passed” trick?

It is a trick. It can now pass the Senate on a simple majority. This is the “Messages between Houses” gambit that was rumored last week. The first hurdle has been cleared.

The language by the author seems to say that as long as republicans are 50 against passing it, the bill will die in debate and not advance.
I do not get the procedure, but it sounds as if the shell bill is an attempt for them to advance the debate on it and get there soundbites in.
The author contradicts what I read previously on this, which said it would pass with fifty votes (plus Harris).
I’m confused by the information. There are perhaps several takes on this move. There’s a business insider article I read earlier today about this, not sure what to think.
