FLINT, Mich. -- As the ranking Democrat in the Michigan legislature, state Sen. John Cherry is as neutral as a beige sofa in an off-white room when it comes to the highly competitive race to be the party's nominee for governor.

But his wife isn't.

"Yes, I'm married to one, but I am really tired of white male leaders," Pam Cherry explained over chilled shrimp at a fundraiser for state Attorney General Jennifer Granholm. "We need something new, something fresh."

What a pukefest. OK Michigan, let's make the people at the Washington Post blow a gasket and send Grandstand back to her hometown - Vancover, or at least Bezerkely.
