Senate Democrats and senior diplomats in the State Department are pushing for U.S. ratification of something called CEDAW. Pronounced See-Daw, it's a United Nations treaty more formally known as the Convention on the Elimination Against All Forms of Discrimination Against Women. The Equal Rights Amendment multiplied a thousand-fold, CEDAW is the most radical treaty the U.S. has ever considered ratifying.

Then we must move fast, right now, to stop this from happening. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is planning hearings for ratification on June 13. All Americans of good faith must contact the White House and let President Bush know that consideration of CEDAW must end IMMEDIATELY. I promise you, this good man will listen.
