Poll finds Tiahrt still leads Nolla in 4th District race
TOPEKA - With two weeks left before the Nov 5 election, Todd Tiahrt, the congressman from the 4th District, is still ahead, according to a poll released Monday.
A Survey USA poll taken Friday through Sunday for KWCH 12 Eyewitness News and The Wichita Eagle, shows Tiahrt, a Republican, ahead of Carlos Nolla, a Democrat, by 51 percent to 42 percent. The results are largely unchanged from a similar poll a month ago.
The automated poll of 596 likely voters has a margin of error of plus or minus 4 percentage points, meaning Tiahrt's lead could be as small as 1 percentage point or as large as 17 percentage points.
