You know, the resemblance to Woodrow Wilson is astounding. LOL

Another Clinton appointee to the Bureau of Intelligence and Research was Ann Pincus, wife of Wash. Post reporter Walter Pincus. Walter and Ann were frequent guests of the Clintons at Camp David and apparently knew Joe Wilson/Valerie Plame. Rep. Peter King was correct in asking for an investigation - we have subversive elements in both the State Dept. and CIA.

I just want you folks to be honest about your liberalism, rather than co-opting the conservative label.

Typical of a libertarian to think everyone who isn't a libertarian is a leftist.

I like talking with you...

First of all, the "infamous" 16 words is a tempest in a teapot... and facts that changed after the fact. You are right... if the White House hadn't said "we misspoke," it would haven't been brought up. I don't have a problem with the 16 words. The British stand behind their intelligence, and they probably have better sources in Africa than we do. Furthermore, Wilson's attempt to find out is laughable at best.

Liberia... surely that doesn't have you upset. Rice is a hack to you... but I've read enough of your posts to know that if people don't think exactly like you than, to you, they are a hack...

As conservatives... you need to wake up and smell the coffee. The world is tied into the UN. Like it not... that is the reality on the ground. If we want international cooperation... then that cooperation has to go through the UN. (I would whole-heartedly support any bill that would get the US out of the UN though)

Please realize that the world thinks badly of America because it is the world's knee jerk reaction to think badly of America. Powell's appearance on the world stage has very little to do with the world's reaction to the US in Iraq.

Dead children, previously playing in Halabja
Victims of Saddams' WMD in March 1988. Why did the World wait so long?

Chemical warhead at an Iraqi air base, marked with a green band,
the symbol for chemical weaponry. Trace amounts of a nerve agent were found
on two spots on the ~meter long warhead, possibly consistent with
leakage from a chemically armed weapon. A 13-foot missile was found next
to it.

I have never hid my advocacy of 'Mere Isolationism' so your point is disingenuous.

During the Clinton administration, the Bureau of Intelligence and Research also was the organization that "lost" the laptop computer with the highly classified information. Perhaps Mr. Theilmann will explain that failure since he is apparently so full of facts.

China has murdered 115 million baby girls since 1950; I don't advocate invading them either.

John do you really believe that anyone cares what you post.

Will you be eligible for unemployment when Jim Rob finally decides to ban you? Of course the DNC should fire you for your failure to convince anyone on Free Republic inspite of your full time job to post your BS.

I would like to see all of the State SOBs sent to Baghdad and see how they feel about the non dangers after a week or so.

What makes you think they and the terrorists wouldn't [don't] wash their feet together?

Its just a tactic to keep things interesting around here and eschew the disease of group think.

I get a bigger kick out of those who call anyone who doesn't favor sending over teenage girls from West Virginia to occupy a secular country 10,000 miles from home, an anti-American leftist.

The issue was WMD in Iraq. That you change the subject
when confronted with facts only proves the utter absence
of merit in your argument.

Yes, I do, I have a full Freep Mail account.

I care more about the re-election of George W. than even the careers of Condi Rice and Powell.

About that Prescription Drug Benefit?

Could you please denounce that socialist giveaway so I know where you stand?

You are probably correct. The pro PA/Islamofacist thugs would welcome the career state rats as brothers under Allah.

However, most these people feel that there is no world outside of the Beltway. That would be the real punishment.

I dont doubt that in the least.I think I have said in this forum that one of the biggest mistakes George Bush had made was to keep so many ex-Clintonites.

TY, BTW.

The 16 words were vetted by Condi Rice. Her job is simply to protect the President from saying such dubious things, and she failed. It cannot be any clearer than that.

Wilson is just a partisan hack being used by the CIA to settle some scores or win some internal battle that we will never know about. I suspect the right people will get a promotion and all will be well, and it will just go away.

International opinion is important, but it was Powell who insisisted on using the UN as the vehicle for securing approval which they had no chance of securing anyway. Clearly, Powell's approach failed, and no serious person can look at the report he read at the UN and say 'he was right.' I am sure Powell was embarassed, perhaps he felt used, but to then lobby for the Liberian intervention tells me he is no friend of peace and no friend of the more hawkish conservatives, that is if they put the honest advancement of their agenda, securing national security through reshaping the Middle East, ahead of politics.

Geezuz I wish I had a nickle for every twerp who reads Atlas Shrugged and undergoes a massive political/philosophical epiphany/orgasm and then cops a holier-than-thou attitude, logs onto a forum like this and names himself "JohnGalt", "JohnGalt-II", etc., et. Al., ad nauseum.

What a vast weight is lifted from said twerp’s shoulders as his new cure for the cognitive dissonance he’s had since his college indoctrination days takes hold. He can now reconcile his inner liberal professor with some modicum of common sense. He can still protest the establishment and pine for a Utopia, still be the eternal adolescent rebel.

1988 is not proof of 2003.

I assumed you realized the logic without saying; I was not trying to be flippant, I only thought your point was that Saddam was a bad man.

Powell and Rice should resign, that is if either is at all honorable.

You should resign from free republic. No one respects your cut and run cowardice. We have a war to take care of so go hide your head in the sand with the other ostriches

I suggest you read the profile before you pine away publicly. I see we both have MacArthur quotes on our profiles.
