Anyone who's ever been at a ball game knows that your eyes follow the ball, especially when it's coming toward you. This guy was looking up, instinctively put his hands up, failing to see the fielder coming toward him. This guy did not cause the Cubs to give up 8 runs and the people trashing him need some serious home made shock therapy.

Facts and common sense don't matter. Cub fans will not be satisfied until somebody has taken a vegetable peeler to his entire body and sprayed him down with lemon juice.

Right. Just as...

Anyone who's ever gone to a movie theater knows your ears listen to your cell phone ringing, because you're a self-absorbed, need-to-be-wired narcissist.

Or do you turn it off, because you respect other people?

If you have a seat along the foul line, then you need to bloody well realize that you have an ethical obligation to keep your two clutching, overreaching, needy little hands out of the field of play, and let the professional athletes do their jobs.

Well, your point needs some clarification -- if you're sitting ON THE OUTSIDE ROW DIRECTLY ON THE FIELD OF PLAY, then you MUST THINK about the possibility of interfering. ESPECIALLY if you're a serious baseball fan and you understand the game.
