I'm not too sure Shelly will like that idea. You are on your own!

Goodmorning Lori. Another beautiful cybertour. Until last year when we "switched" to Key West, Mr. D. and I spent Thanksgiving week in New Orleans for about 12 years. It just got to be a tradition. It's a great time to be there...layed back and lazy. We always stay in the quarter and love it as people start to decorate their balconies for Christmas and, when the weather is nice, actually have their Thanksgiving meal on the balcony. We just spend the days walking, people watching and of course eating our way through the quarter.

Sigh...it's been two years...now I'm homesick and ready to go back! See what you started!

Cajun cooking is indeed marvelous. The oyster po boy I had in New Orleons was the best sandwich I ever had in my entire life

That's one of our favorites...in addition to the shrimp po boys...oysters on the half shell, gumbo, jumbalaya, shrimp etouffe...pralines, bananas foster...gosh...I'm ready to go back (can you tell I food obssess????)
