I haven't been to Ainsworth but know where it is. We've had our share of tornados the last few years. Some have caused damage near us, but nothing too serious. This summer we were going to the car races and suddenly my son said, "There's a funnel cloud!" It was pretty far behind us, but to get home we'd have had to drive thru the storm. Long story short(er) we drove 'away' from the storm for 2 hrs. and ended up 50 miles away when we finally gave up driving from it and decided to stop at Applebees for supper and let it blow thru. (we were ahead of the storm and never in any real danger. was on a lot of dirt roads I'd never been on before!) On the TV in the restaurant saw the line of storms was about 200 miles long! Ate and then walked out to clear skies and drove home. Do you have those kind of storms in Maine?
