I suggested this to Bush in August, and he never addressed a special session. Now State Senator King says this would be unconstitutional to make it apply to Terri. How horrible! Again, I ask, What's a Republican legislature for? I mean, what good has this really been? How is it any different from the previous Democrat legislature?

Why is Jeb Bush dragging his feet as Terri lies dying. This bill would not pass until after Terri is dead.

According to Senator Kings Office, even if it did pass before her death it would not be retroactive, so it would not apply to Terri's situation.

ANother reason stated that it wouldnt pass was because there would be no way legally to stop the court ordered tube removal... it was court ordered (her words not mine)
