Ludacris Fires Back at Bill O'Reilly?
NewsMax ^ | 10/20/03 | Limbacher

Gutter-lyric rap star Ludacris has fired back at his cable news nemesis, Bill O'Reilly, for getting Pepsi to stop using him in their commercials last year - by apparently insulting the top talker in his latest musical endeavor, "Hoes in My Room."

We say "apparently" because the song in question is so vulgarity-laden it's hard to tell what the gangsta rapper is trying to say.

In a verse sung with that other poet of the streets, Snoop-Doggy-Dog, Ludacris waxes indelicately about several "hoes" who evidently appeared in his dressing room one day.

"Now, these chicks wouldn't leave, they was ready to clown. One was 5'6 and weighed three hundred pounds," complains the rap star, in one of few lyric lines that are actually printable in full.

Immediately preceding O'Reilly's mention, Ludacris raps:

"But I was turned off by her tupper-ware [vulgarity]. (Fake [vulgarity], break [vulgarity], make [vulgarity].

"Kick rocks, when they [obscenity] up in they face. Tick-tock, you gots to get up out my space.

"Hey Ludacris let's get the [obscenity] up out this place, let's bounce.) Then it got to my head, and somethin' reminded me.

"I know who let 'em in, it was Bill O'Reilly [anti-gay slur]. (Ya' white bread, chicken-[vulgarity] [racial slur].)" {End of Lyrics]

Mr. O'Reilly will have to determine for himself whether he's been insulted or not.

Yikes. We'll have to refer this to June Cleaver, she speaks jive.

Sure took Ludacris long enough to respond to O'Reilly, even if it was in song.

O'Reilly constantly attacks people, then when they fire back, he whines and acts morally outraged.
What a narcissistic cry-baby.

ROTFLOL
On a more serious note, it is depressing how ANYONE listens to this garbage and how base this sub-culture is. How stupid to see little blond kids (or any kids for that matter) "singing" along.

LOL. You can't even determine whether O'Reilly was insulted or not.

When your parents listen to heavy metal you have to go "the extra yard" to find music that will annoy them.

We'll see if Bill O'Reilly can take it as well as he dishes it out.

He had a right to take Pepsi on over Ludacris, but Ludacris has every right to take a shot back at Bill. Someone pop up some popcorn. This might be fun to watch...

:)

What's interesting is over 80% of rap music in the US according to industry reports is bought by whites.

I thought Bill O'Reilly said that he was going to have Ludacris on his show last week. I don't have cable and don't listen to his radio show much but I thought I heard him say that he had agreed to be a guest.

Polkas or lounge music ought to drive those parents up the wall. And both still offer plenty of drinking songs. Heck, even techno-disco-electronica should drive a guitar lover up the wall (and the louder it is played, the more THUMP-THUMP-THUMP-THUMP drone there is to annoy with).

Wonder what this means in English? The idea that being too stupid to talk constitutes a seperate language called "ebonics" is a dangerous and insulting farce.

It is the nature of the attack and the level of discourse that determines if the attack is warranted.

Is it a proper "response" to insult someone in a rap song after Bill O'Reilly says that a performer's songs are profane and being marketed to kids?

How about being invited on Tax Payer supported NPR's Fresh Air to talk about his book and never once being asked a question about his book in over an hour's time? Bill has used Terry Gross's interview of Al Franken as a counterpoint to the agressive treatment he was given.

I am not a Bill O'Reilly fan but where do you see hypocrisy in this? Or do you just like to complain?
