Hollywood Avoids the War on Terror
PABAAH: Patriotic Americans Boycotting Anti-American Hollywood ^

Posted on 10/20/2003 12:56:33 PM PDT by jonalvy44

According to Daniel Pipes: Jonathan V. Last notes in today's Wall Street Journal that the war on terror is not the subject of a single U.S. feature film already produced or in the works. When asked why should be, head of the Motion Picture Association of America, Jack Valenti, replies with questions of his own: "Who would you have as the enemy if you made a picture about terrorism? You'd probably have Muslims, would you not? If you did, I think there would be backlash from the decent, hard-working, law-abiding Muslim community in this country."

Let's not forget that DC and Marvel have also hijacked our superheroes as well. No movie stars destroying radical Muslims and Superman needs UN approval before stopping the nuclear warhead N. korea is trying to deliver via email to S. Korea...

Two movies, Wanted dead or alive. True lies.

Movie to avoid at all costs Sum of All Our Fears.

I've always said that our own "PC" will literally destroy this country. It's as if the truth is more offensive than a lie...and we see this on many levels, be it immigration, educational failure, welfare or any other misguided social policy. I remember when a California kid did a report on welfare and how immigrants made up the majority of recipients. The kid was punished, even though his statistics were taken from the states own bureau of statistics. When the truth becomes the enemy, our society is doomed.

The silence will continue to be deafening until Hollywood can establish the RNC link with 9/11. Then it will be a story.

Wonder why there was never a backlash from all the decent, hardworking, law-abiding German-Americans in this country at the depiction of Nazis in all thos WWII movies?

If you did, I think there would be backlash from the decent, hard-working, law-abiding Muslim community in this country.

However, a backlash about a movie featuring, as villains, hard-working, law-abiding conservatives, Republicans, Christians, pro-lifers, gun-owners, homeschoolers, heterosexuals, white men, and/or the military would fall on deaf ears.

For the same reason they would never make Red Storm Rising.

Can think of a few others, but of course they might make the bear and the dragon.

If you did, I think there would be backlash from the decent, hard-working, law-abiding Muslim community in this exactly go to the cinema in droves, do they? And even if they did, there aren't enough to put a dent in ticket sales if they got cheesed and stayed away. So, come on, Jack. What's the real deal? Why no movies about terror?

The truth is the enemy of the lefties because reality puts the lie to their beloved theories. They are in love with a lie and they are dragging us along with them.

Porno pushing Jack has no qualms about portraying hard working Christian males as villians. Jack is one of the smarmiest doltywood types ever.

[snip]

A dozen or so years ago, Chetwynd told the story of Dieppe during a Malibu dinner party. He told it as a sort of tribute to the men who died there so people could sit around debating politics at Malibu dinner parties. One of the guests was a network head who asked Chetwynd to come in and pitch the story to his people. "So I went in," Chetwynd recalls, "and someone there said, 'So these bloodthirsty generals sent these men to a certain death?'

"And I said, 'Well, they weren't bloodthirsty. They wept. But how else were we to know how Hitler could be toppled from Europe?' And she said, 'Well, who's the enemy?' I said, 'Hitler. The Nazis.' And she said, 'Oh, no, no, no. I mean, who's the real enemy?'

I'm surprised. I didn't think that Hollywood would ever consider remaking the movie Freaks. "Gooba gabba, one of us, one of us!"

Someone needs to explain to Jack that real color blindness will happen when people DON'T shout about the color of a villian's skin. He knows that CAIR will raise a stink if muslim villians appear in a movie (especially now).

Christians he can deal with but other religious extremists? Are you kidding?
