I happen to believe that Bill and Hillary Clinton were the worst presidents in our nation's history. Corruption, government abuse, treason and daily scandal were the norm under their rule. Bill is a useful idiot who can't keep his mouth shut or his zipper up and Hillary is an America hating godless communist power monger. These are my personal opinions.
Bill and Hillary Clinton and their minions still wield a tremendous amount of power and influence over the Democrat Party, the socialist movement and the national press. Their goals are to completely eliminate our rights to free speech, free religion, freedom to keep and bear arms, etc., and these are just for starters.
I believe the overall goal of their movement is to completely do away with the U.S. Constitution and in its place, install socialist/totalitarian rule over America. Furthermore, I believe they wish to do away with our national sovereignty altogether and subject America to domination by the U.N. and other world bodies.
Now you may call me a nutcase if you wish, but that's the way I see it. I believe that in the last century, FDR, LBJ, RMN, Carter, Clinton, et al, successfully introduced many socialist programs into our government and our way of life and with the help of the media and atheist institutions like the ACLU began systematically destroying the fabric of our society. In the process, they've moved both of our major political parties way over to the left. They (the liberals/marxists/socialists) have almost completely taken over all of our government institutions and agencies, the judiciary, the press, the Universities, our education systems, our charities, even our churches.
I believe that as long as Bill and Hillary Clinton and their like minded socialist minions have any influence or power over the government or either of the two major political parties, our nation and all of our freedoms are in extreme danger.
Free Republic was created in 1996 as a place where liberty-minded individuals could gather and share the news and discuss the Clinton scandals and other government abuses. I had hoped that the truth of the Clinton corruption would come out in time to prevent his re-election in 1996. Didn't happen. So we moved on. If we couldn't block his re-election, well, perhaps we could help with his impeachment. He was impeached, but we could not remove him.
So next, we decide to do all in our power to ensure that his second in command does not get to the Whitehouse. Even though GWB was not my first choice, once he won the Republican nomination, most of us rallied behind him and fought like the dickens to get him elected. Then we fought again to block the attempted Gore coup d'etat. Our Free Republic chapters mobilized all across the nation and there were thousands of rallies and protests in hundreds of cities objecting loudly to Gore's attempted takeover.
Then we all thanked God when Bush was finally declared the winner and off to Washington we went to celebrate at the Free Republic George W. Bush Inaugural Ball (I).
Then we all thank God again when after the cowardly attack on our nation by a gang of murderous international terrorists we realize how close we were to complete collapse and national destruction had the socialist U.N. loving Al Gore been in charge. Thank God for President Bush!
And I haven't even mentioned how evil I truly believe the official Democrat Party platform is. Here's a partial laundry list of what the Democrat Party supports and promotes: abortion; homosexuality; feminaziism; environmentalism; government control over every aspect of our lives and society; socialized health care; disarmament of the American people; subjugation of the U.S. to the U.N.; the complete elimination of our national sovereignty; complete destruction of our basic traditional family unit; loss of personal freedoms and individual liberty. In other words, complete destruction of our Constitution and Bill of Rights and our American way of life.
I came to the conclusion several years ago that there is no way this republic can survive if we allow the Democrat Party to maintain control over our government and other institutions. If America is to survive as we know it, Bill and Hillary Clinton and all the current democrat/socialist power mongers who share their philosophy and visions for a socialist America and socialist world must be soundly rejected and defeated at the polls.
And not just at the presidential level. They must be rejected and removed from both houses of Congress and from our State houses and local legislatures. For example, if we cannot remove them from the Senate, then there is no hope for reestablishing a judiciary built on the original intent of the Constitution and the rule-of-law. The liberals and socialists must be rooted out of our congress and our judiciary. Our free republic, our freedom and even liberty itself depends on it.
Just my humble opinion and why I act the way I do. I see the Democrat Party as domestic enemy number one of the Constitution and therefor it is my sworn enemy. And, in my eyes, anyone who helps to elect members of the Democrat party are aiding and abetting the enemy.
Futhermore, I believe wholeheartedly in the original intent of our Founding Fathers and in the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
God gave us these unalienable rights and they can never be taken from us by man or government. And we are ALL to be treated justly and equally under the law.
"That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed."
Yes, the Founders established a government and set forth the plan for us to govern ourselves.
"That whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness."
The government has become destructive to these ends. One of the main purposes of our government is to defend, preserve and protect our liberty. It has been doing just the opposite. Therefore, it is our right and duty to alter or abolish it. I propose doing so by destroying enemy number one of the Constitution, the corrupt socialist Democrat Party.
If we can humiliate Clark in the state he chooses to set his guns then we will have managed to slice and dice Hilarious Rodham and Terry McAwful.

While Bill Clinton didn't have the breeding to resign the fact that he finally left office in abject disgrace (never mind the speaking fees...people like train wrecks)having been impeached he will never ever be on the Supreme Court, let alone Chief Justice, which was to be his reward from Al Bore. No American will ever be Secretary General of the United Nations, thank God. One more election cycle and Bilary will be out of sight and out of mind.

At the end of the day, I have to still look forward to supporting the education and welfare of our fellow citizens and will still count on the ACLU to champion individual rights in spite of some really dumb fixations from the atheists who have infiltrated that once fine organization.

Our society has certainly coarsened over the last fifty years and while I understand the natural affection for government from those in leadership roles in education and social programs it is here that I would take issue with the cause. Unbridled capitalism has created an incredible trend of excess, greed and theft. The pendulum is hanging in the balance but greed must stop before corruption and government abuse can be curtailed.

I wouldn't have ever been here save for my heartfelt appreciation for having Free Republic to come to when these terrible monsters were corrupting our nation. Bill is a diseased whore and Hilary is his pimp. She will have to pimp for herself now and nobody but her sick-o-pants wants her. Help us demolish General Clark and we can forget them all forever.

Contrary to the conventional wisdom of the majority here, some Democrats are worth the effort to attract with positive enforcement rather than body slams. Admittedly it is difficult to speak kindly of the opposition during the heat of the game on the field or the contests in the state houses.

Here is a problem area. I swore an oath to defend the constitution of the United States but am ever mindful of the fact that the Declaration of Independence was written against the Crown and that the institution of government cannot of itself declare surrender. It is rather like the chicken and the egg except that breaking the egg ends the mystery.
I propose doing so by destroying enemy number one of the Constitution, the corrupt socialist Democrat Party.
Well now, I would like you to help get rid of the cancer within the Democratic Party but having spent a good part of my life supporting labor and other Democratic pillars I can never seek the destruction of a point of view. You might have better results with just dismantling Maxine and Jesse and leave Al and Joe to us.
The above is in response to the recent attacks on my character, my honesty and my devotion to principle. If anyone here really believes that I am dishonest, disloyal or unprincipled, then I wish you would resign from this website and leave us be.
Those who continue to spew their hate and jealousy against you and your family and close associates will always have my deepest and strongest disgust. That we have managed to isolate many of them to the backwaters of the internet is a satisfaction to me personally. I only regret it took us so long and took so many friends.
I will say one last time that Free Republic is the best damn street corner on the www and while we have never met and rarely communicated, I will repeat that you, Jim Robinson and your son have never, ever gone back on your word...and in several instances have shown me great patience, trust and forebearance when I may have deliberately stepped over the line.
As the election nightmare heats up and my growing unease with President Bush's national security team reaches the breaking point, it will be best for me to allow you all to enjoy your own company without some ancient old liberal who campaigned for Harry Truman (in 1948...in case anyone thinks I'm old enough to have helped him meet Prendergast) hanging around tut-tutting when conservative hyperbole opens a hole in my sarcasm bag.
Please remember that if you ever need a witness to challenge the antis (aka maggots, toads & hamsters) I will always be more than proud to help. I owe you more than that but it's all I've left.

This nation was not founded on a two party system. There was no concept of party in the establishment of this nation. What we think of today as a party system was the work of Andrew Jackson. President Andrew Jackson was more than anyone responsible for our two party system.But Even if you buy the founder of the Democratic party as gospel, then I see nothing that Jim Rob sets as national goals that is in conflict with what Andrew Jackson believed in.
Jackson after all was the creator of the Spoils system. You know what that is don't you.... To the victor belongs the spoils. Get elected then do what YOU WANT.
Jim Rob is advocating wining at the polls and THEN DOING AS OUR SIDE SEES FIT. He is just advocating the old Democratic Position on what victors should do.
It is the Democrats who have subverted our form of government... not Jim Rob. Just for the record Madame de Winter the founder of the Democratic party could not be more in agreement with JIM ROB on wining the peoples support and then implementing that agenda.
Our nation is does not need to be a nation with a conservative party and a socialist party. For most of its history our nation, both major parties were bitterly opposed to socialism. If one looks at the two parties of 100 years ago, neither party was socialist. I would bet you that if we were living 100 years ago... some of us, perhaps including Jim might have to think about being a Democrat or a Republican. I would be with one party on some issues and the other party on other issues.
Today I am considered far right. 100 years ago I would have been a centrist. Jim Rob is just talking about moving the nation back to where it was. He is not talking about taking us where we have never been.
The fact that neither of the two parties were socialist a hundred years ago did not make us any less a two party system..
Look at the issues of 110 years ago. Where do you stand on the Gold Standard... industrial developement. Public suported roads, electricity, and government supplied water and sewers... ... Democrats said no GOLD standard... Republicans said Gold standard.... where do we stand.... Are we ready to fight over these issues?
Trying to rid our nation of a strong socialist party is no less noble a task than driving the racist party out of the nation. Actually the racist party did not go away. It just became non racist. The socialist party could abandon socialism.. All we need do is defeat it badly and keep defeating it... They would move close enough to our positions until they were able to win. It would move both parties to the right. .It would not make us a one party nation.
Returning to the old definitions of left and right would not hurt us, or destory our nation... It would, I submit, and as Jim Rob says... save it.
But I want you to know that you can count on me in the fight against sycophancy and the suck-ups who are trying foist it on our society!

During the 2000 election, a few of us made a series of threads called "The Bush/Cheney 2000 Victory Tour." Why did we do that? Because after the convention the media shut down coverage of Bush. People on this forum were griping that he wasn't making appearances, when in fact the media was shutting down coverage.
If you think that a speech will automatically get coverage, you are being naive. The networks only allow his speches to be shown when they are dealing with a possible declaration of war, or when (in the case of a press conference) they think there will be an opportunity to trash him with "gotcha" questions.
As he signs increased social spending into law.
