I have no problem with that whatsoever - I just want to make sure that we don't forget those who are destroying the GOP from within... Just my two cents, for what it's worth (not counting inflation)

I whole heartedly agree.

There are very many of us here who are like-minded. Who see the Republic slipping away, being stolen by Marxists. Who know the best weapon we have is the truth, the very thing leftists can't abide.

Chad, yes, RINOs are an issue. They're a blight. But let's keep the bigger picture in perspective and allow ourselves to fight smart within coalitions to destroy the real enemy. Take it somewhere else. Not this thread. For at least one thread, let's all at least agree that these dems must be defeated and destroyed.

So, it's really the Office of the Presidency you disdain, not the occupant necessarily. Is that about right? And the Prize is overthrowing the President, is that right?

Free Republic is the ultimate example of the importance of the Internet.

I am sorry that I only found it in July. Before that, I had no one to talk to about my concerns (which are parallel to yours).

The contribution of all FReepers has resulted in an exponential growth in my knowledge of political and even historical matters.

If only the Repubs were in sync with the majority philosophy on FR!

Thank You.

I can think of a dozen good places to start. The general size of the federal government would be as good a place as any. Educate people. Show them what portion of their income goes to satisfy the leviathan. Show them what it was 25, 50, 100 years ago. Show them that only 6 cents on the dollar allocated for social programs, actually goes to the recipient (with the rest being bureaucratic overhead). Show them what is happening to their country.

I agree with you 100%. What I don't understand is why everyone thinks JimRob is not with us.

That is interesting, and would make a nice centerpiece to my next political exchange...

Do you have a link?

Not political partyism... but political activism.

You don't think there was any partisanship in that ad?

Question for you, since we both live in Washington state: Would you trade Patty Murray for a Republican in the mold of Arnold Schwarzenegger? I would. In a heartbeat. Getting rid of her, if we could achieve it, is the first goal.

I agree with Jim. The main objective? Democrats have to go.

They're dangerous.

That was a good speach and I'm with you.
I am a newbie here who originally came here because of doug from upland's songs and the tech threads. However I spend most of the time on the Terri Schiavo threads now because I believe that the "death culture" that this case represents is another deadly domestic enemy of our country.
I am currently have an active thread for the prosecution of
Michael Schiavo. (There is evidence that is being ignored that spousal abuse may be the reason for the condition Terri is in.) Thank you for allowing that vanity to remain on the main board. I would like to donate monthly but the old finances just don't allow for that now.

Well said, Jim. I am in 100% agreement. Many at FR at attacked as unprincipled because they take a practical (real world) view, understanding that the first task is to remove the enemy of freedom from office. The enemy is clearly the democratic party. I tire of being labled unprincipled because I live in a world of what can be done, which is not always what most of us want done. The process is one step at a time, not 100% victory, with 100% pure conservative canidates, every time we go to the ballot box.

I do not subscribe to the child like, simplistic, and most often agenda driven, assertions that the is NO DIFFERENCE between the two parties...what nonesense.

You, and FR are GREATLY appreciated. There are many talented, witty, and thoughtful posters at FR. I do not agree with them all, but I appreciate them all. It is a great place to be.

"If you have a workable plan for doing that via some other political party other than the Republican Party, I'm all ears. Please lay it on us.:

I am thinking about that almost everyday Jim.

As long as the Rats are as evil as they are; the Republicans can become as liberal as they please and the conservative vote is taken for granted. The infestation of the Republican Party is well on its way. Wait until Arnold starts… You and I both know this is ocurring.

There has to be a more effective way then just debating and agreeing on issues (You and I agree on 99% from what I have seen) then just voting for the Republican ticket.

If that is the case, then The Free Republic is just an arm of the RNC, an instant check of the mood and convictions of the posters. And not forgetting the daily foundation of 99% of all conservative Talk Radio hosts programing.

I have learned more about America from this website than any other source in my life. I am pleased to be able to post here and have discussion with other conservatives and Liberals.

The Democratic party is indeed public enemy #1. There are, however, individual democrats, even in office, that are ...decent people ...have almost the same feelings you have about their own party ...support the Constitution and the Bill of Rights ...and are fighting the same fight you do from within the Democratic party.

I think you are naive. Such people CHOOSE to identify themselves with a party whose platform vocally supports all the evil that Jimrob listed. Why? Because they are evil, too. I don't want that to be the case, but I see no other rational interpretation.
