Three cheers for the red, white, blue and Jim Robinson!
Did everyone catch Jim's sly little insertion of the number "one" when he referred to the freeper Inaugural Ball.....
"George W. Bush Inaugural Ball" (1)
See y'all in DC at GW Inaugural Ball (2)!

Thank you Jim for all you do. I know I found "home" whin I found this place. I agree with your assessment of the Democrat party.
I just hope you don't mind all the bandwidth spent on baseball/football/humor threads! It helps keep me laughin' when all the liberal news dominates.

Jim, Thank you so very much for FreeRepublic!! I have appreciated this site lurking long before I registered. Your philosophy is why I am here. There are times I think I would have gone mad if it weren't for FR.
Long Live Freepers! :)

Your post is exactly what I need to hear. That is a good point for me to remember right now ,and in the future. My hubby just got done telling me the same thing. I started to think that to vote for a RINO was a sell out, then I thought about just walking away, I was happy with neither of those thoughts.
I know I could not vote Democrat, then I thought about not voting party line.. but the more I thought about that the more upsetting that became.
Thank you for giving me some clarity right now, because I am struggling big time over here.

Well can ya point me in the direction of the "Ass-kissers" or the "Droll" lines?
I think I belong in one of them.

Question for you, since we both live in Washington state: Would you trade Patty Murray for a Republican in the mold of Arnold Schwarzenegger? I would. In a heartbeat. Getting rid of her, if we could achieve it, is the first goal. Well, I don't know. I'm not a big Arnold fan - even if I did defend him against some of the more idiotic attacks - and would have certainly preferred McClintock. Just so you know where I stand on that.
Now, the thing is, you would never see me voting for, or supporting a democrat, Period - Even if a democrat is a fairly conservative democrat, I could not support them because of their implied support for their national party.
However, I would probably work on the grass-roots level to get a conservative candidate on the ballot, and failing that I would then support the RINO I guess. I wouldn't like it, but I'd vote for Satan as our senator over Patty at this point...
Confusing enough for ya? ;0)

That sounds very patriotic and conservative, but until Bush upholds his oath of office and supports the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, I'll leave my Constitution Party banner flying on my home page. This is still Freerepublic.com, a Conservative forum, right?

"I happen to believe that Bill and Hillary Clinton were the worst presidents in our nation's history." Overlooked that gem. That would be hillary-ous if not true.

Trying to get Jhoffa_ Transmission off the ground in the next 30 - 60 days. Met the girl of my dreams. The best of luck!
I remember when Huck said the same thing. Now, he's married! :-}

BTW - You mentioned the Wash Times Ad. I guess you're not aware that little episode also ended up in a power play to see who would run the site. It was also the run up to Lucianne's backstabbing (Cinderella used the mail list from that endeavor to spam people about leaving FR for L.com).
There's much more to that story than anyone knows about.

Jim,
I believe you've covered all the bases.
Within a few days of their arrival in Washington, it was clear to anyone with half a brain that the klintoons were CONSCIOUSLY EVIL PEOPLE.
They still are.

Sorry, you do not have a plan that will move 50,000,000 or more voters and that's what it takes. Move them to what?
That's the question...
My goal is less government.
All you offer is smoke and mirrors (probably mostly smoke).
Oh... isn't that cute.
An insult.
