Would there be a relationship between "Schiavo" and "Schieve"? Why?

Michael R. Schiavo and the Schindlers came to Pinellas Co. from the Philadelphia area in the middle 1980s. George W. Greer is a NY native. George J. Felos is a MA native. None of the characters, it seems, are native Floridians.

Was Schiavo's mother buried in FL or back in PA?

I don't think there would be a relationship between the names Schiavo and Schieve. But....in Sarasota County Court Records there are a lot of entries for the surname - SCHIAVONE. It would almost appear that the Schiavo's shortened their name...dropping the N and E from the end.

In checking the Social Security Death Index, the SCHIAVO family seems to have come from Pennsylvania and New York, with a few from New Jersey and one from Massachusetts. Following is a list of likely deceased relatives of Michael Schiavo:

The above list is ONLY the Schiavos that resided in or near Clearwater at the time of their death. I excluded those who lived on the east coast - Palm Beach, Miami, Boca raton, etc. The column labeled "issue" is where the Social Security Number was issued. Note that there isn't a Marjorie Schiavo on the list, and the most recent death is in July 2003. I think we can presume that Marjorie Schiavo is still alive and most likely living in Sarasota, Fla. at 2424 Terry Lane. But, who is she, and what is her relationship to Michael Schiavo?
