Right-wingers have been holding up their end of the polarization of America.

Expressing a dissenting opinion and finding others who feel the same way is not what is causing the "polarization of America." We can thank the politics of triangulation for that. After eight years of creating and then pitting one group against another and then taking the middle position, the country ended up split 50%-50%.

If Mr. Friedman is so concerned about polarization in this country, he need look no further than to his own Senator whose (unsubstantiated) declaration of a "vast right wing conspiracy" is the very essence of polarization.

To borrow a phrase from an NC Rep., "A hit dog always hollers."

Way to go, fella!

While the Left is working furiously to destroy America, we are supposed to sit quietly and not "polarize". Sometimes polarization is necessary.

The liberal democrats, always take the wrong side and I think they all believe that it is fine to lie, cheat and they only believe ethics apply to the Republicans. They always accuse the Republicans of wrong doing so they can try and poison the minds of Americans and because they are petty and conniving and desperate. Bashing Republicans is their forte. Liberal democrats are not the moral majority. The liberal democrats are whiners and troublemakers and it has been that way since I can remember

What the left does not want to face is that they are actually the ones polarizing America. JFK would not recognize what has happened to his party. They hate the values that have made America great. We went after Clinton because he was a criminal and a rapist. Had the RATS brought to us someone like Sam Nunn or others who actually had some values and a conscience, the 8-year nightmare would not have happened. But the RATS didn't bring forward someone decent --- they gave us Clinton. He had to polarize us so that he could survive.

Has anyone been noticing an increase in the desperate tone of the leftist's bumper stickers lately?

I've seen a couple of homemade ones this week.

"Hell, the whole damn speech was a lie"

and (my favorite, saw it today)

"A chicken wouldn't vote for Col. Sanders, and an informed worker would never vote for a Republican"

"...groups like the Free Republic, whose leader recently swore hatred for the Democrats who are "destroying the Constitution" and "setting up a totalitarian state," <<<

Looks like good reasons to me!

They hate Bush because of policy differences. There have always been policy differences. We hate Clinton because he is a criminal. Rape and treason are not endearing qualities of a president.

Hal Friedman, of Brooklyn, is obviously one of the very angry current losers.
With an awfully bad memory.

He neglects to mention that all the things he condemns have been "owned" by the left wing progressives for a generation.
It is not until these tools were (finally) used against them successfully that they became "terrible" things.

Payback's a bitch.
