And if there's something in the Florida Constitution that is held to block that, the Florida Constitution can be amended (state constitutions are easy to amend -- Article XII of the Florida Constitution is on how to amend it.)

Wouldn't it take at least until next November to amend the FL Constitution? Would Greer or Demers let her live long enough to see if the voters would amend the Constitution?
There is no certainty that the FL voters would go along with this, but hopefully they would. Such an election could overshadow the presidential and senatorial races in FL next year. I asume that the "popular" Janet Reno would lead the opposition to the amendment.
