A full 50 percent of the 10-member College Democrats group at Nampa´s Northwest Nazarene University turned out for Dean´s visit.

Oh, this is a hoot! I grew up near Nampa, and knew people who went to the Nazarene University. Not too many liberals there. And I kinda wonder what the good folks in places like Riggins, Salmon, Yankee Fork, Driggs, and Arco might think about Mr. Dean!

From what I know of Idaho, the good folks there neither know nor care what the he** a "metrosexual" is. Frankly, I don't either...it's just another stupid-a** buzzword that someone who thinks way too much of himself came up with.

Whoever coined that word needs to be rounded up, along with whoever came up with "neocon" and "paleocon", and that dipsh** "Fred" dude that HBO puts on between movies, and put in a very leaky boat in the Florida Straits during shark migration. Then the water surrounding them needs to be heavily chummed, and a Coast Guard cutter be left on station to shoot anyone in the unlikely event they survive. Just my humble opinion, of course.

Dean probably goes over well in a few areas in Pocatello where fuzzy-headed CommieLib 'Rats scurry around...speifically Old Town and the neighborhoods around ISU. I used to call these areas "Poke-a-Fellow" because, well, for obvious reasons. Fortunately, the good, level-headed, right-thinking people of Pocatello and Chubbuck keep the vermin infestation under control. What a hoot! Dean in Idaho...I gotta call my brother in Idaho and see if he heard anything about it.

I had never heard of Northwest Nazarene University before, but according to the World Almanac it has about 1300 students. Five of them showed up for this event. Somehow I suspect support for abortion rights and gay rights is not going to make this university a hotbed of Dean support.

Idaho and Vermont both border Canada, and if you look at mashed potatoes and Ben & Jerry's vanilla ice cream from a distance, they're hard to tell apart. (That's if vanilla is a flavor sold by Ben & Jerry's--I don't know if it is.)
