I have documented your feedback about this show and your feelings about our advertising on it and forwarded it to our Advertising Team.

Thank you again for sharing your feedback. If you need any additional information or assistance, please do not hesitate to e-mail us again or call us at 1-800-553-6000, option 3.

Please feel free to e-mail us again or call us at 1-800-553-6000, prompt 3.

Sincerely,

MESSAGE: I have been considering a VUE (I fit in it - 1st qualification as I'm 6-5, don't fit in things like Infiniti FX45 which I really liked) but I'm concerned about what I've heard about Saturn's possible sponsorship of an upcoming CBS show.
Obviously I haven't seen "The Reagans" but will watch it to verify what I've heard. When the screenwriter even admits that some of the scenes are fiction I find it amazing that anyone would sponsor such a hatchet job. Since he can no longer defend himself I find it repulsive to make up nonsense in an attempt to trash his record or perhaps the motive is to comparatively raise another former president's.
I will watch it critically and if what I've been led to believe occurs, AND if I see Saturn has sponsored what I consider to be trash the VUE or any other Saturn will never see my driveway.
Thank you (hoping it's not true so I can buy the VUE), _____

Rather what I expected to get.
I'm hoping they pull their ads because my second choice is a BMW - kind of a large price differential but what the heck, I just won't buy new snowmobiles this year, or next!

A guy choosing between a BMW and a Saturn... nothing like making the marketing consultants lives more difficult.

I applaud you!

Um, if you want, you could buy yourself a Kia for that money burning a hole in your pocket, and have enough leftover to get me one too.... ;-)

Thanks! I sent off an email just now.

As a two time Saturn owner and proud owner of a 1 year old VUE I am appauled that I heard the company is supporting the upcoming Reagan mini series.

One of the reasons that I bought a Saturn was that it is a great non-union American company. If Saturn insists in trashing American values by advertising on the upcoming mini series then count me in as a VW buyer next time around.

If I want anti American I'll at least buy German Engineering.

Cordially,

HEy the x5 is awesome!!! My mother let me drive hers for a week and I would love to own one. Pass on the sleds, or come to MN and get a new one for cheap (Not enough snow the last couple of years).

Take hard looks at the Dodge Neon and at the Honda Accord. Both are exceptionally tall-friendly, fast, efficient, well-made and capable of living very long lives.

Nope.

Won't get their attention this way.

Call the LOCAL Saturn delareship.

Tell THAT manager!

(8 or 16 people calling ONE dealer will make a difference in THAT dealer where it counts. But 64, 128, or even 256 calls to a national headquarters will be ignored.

When 8, 16, or 32 or 64 DEALERS call the headquarters - headquarters WILL listen.

8 people calling a national office would get ignored completely - as this email shows.

And which demographic would that be? The hate America unemployed anarchist demographic? I would think that would be a waste of the stockholders advertising dollar, wouldn't you?

Just bought a Vue to replace my wife's Kia (Sephia). The Kia was the absolute, without a doubt, worst piece of junk I ever owned. Had it for five years.... front axles replaced three times, air conditioner worked on four times (never really fixed it), many many brake jobs and three busted engine mounts that weren't covered by the warranty (paid for by my $600 tax rebate!). My wife loves her Vue. We have a couple of friends who have bought Saturns and rave about the quality of their cars and the company. So far I am pleased with the company and the vehicle.

OK, I should have been clearer.
I drove the KIA ? and my shin was rubbing on the bottom of the dash. The salesman tried to say it wouldn't bother me after a couple days and I suggested he put his foot up on his desk and I get a hammer from a mechanic and bounce it gently on his leg for 10 minutes. Point made. Same problem in the Mitsubishi Out(something).
Sometimes my test drives are REAL short. I want(ed) a Honda S2000, got in it, the salesman handed the key over, I started it, and could not close the door! My leg was stuck between the steering wheel and the door.
I fit in a Mini just fine. I could fit 2 of those in the space the Suburban occupies, almost.
I was surprised by the Nissan SUV. My head hit the sunroof with the seat in a comfortable spot. YET, when I went over to a 350Z, I fit fine. The brochures show the SUV has MORE headroom than the 350Z. There must be something wrong with Japanese tape measures.
I fit in a Mercury Mountaineer but my head hits the roof in the Lincoln Aviator and they're the SAME car! Go figure.
I have 2 Shelby Mustangs. In one, my leg felt wet and I discovered blood running down my shin after I hit the light switch during a fast shift.

Part of the reason I considered the Saturn is I plan on giving it to my niece when she graduates in a year and she thought it was really nice. I don't plan on giving her a BMW! I love her but get real.

I'm saving the brochures, salesman's card, etc., to send to Saturn, GM, et. al., along with a copy of the window sticker of whatever I buy.

Have a Suburban - that's hard enough to park! I also bought a deuce&a-half at auction. For what reason I have NO explanation. Just used it once to move a ton of stuff, literally. It actually was cheaper than renting a truck for a weekend, if I don't count insurance. etc.
For off-road use I'd rather get a Jeep Rubicon. Legroom is a problem but for that I could put up with it on occasion. And tow it to wherever. The niece would really prefer that!

I am a tall guy and have noticed some of the same issues. I think a lot of it has to do with marketing. The main market for sports cars in big guys, while the main market for certain SUV's is women. That might explain why you would might fit in a 350Z and not the SUV.

I was kidding, sweetie. :-)

My kids are never riding in a Kia if I have anything to say about it. It's the new Yugo...with just a little more paint to hide the residues of Budweiser labels on the sheet metal.

Ping to myself to call the Saturn dealership tomorrow.

I'm not into censorship. Anyone in this country can say any fool thing he wants. But he darn well oughta pay for it himself if it's hate speech. Saturn oughta be reminded that Reagan is well-beloved by a significant swath of CUSTOMERS.
