indulged in a guilty pleasure: an $80 visit to the hairdresser. When she told her husband, Michael, over the phone, he reacted angrily at the cost and the two traded bitter words, according to Jackie Rhodes, a friend of Schiavos. I seem to remember a couple of freepers defending Michael -- that being stingy doesn't equal being a murderer...

This might explain why they were Fighting in those days, why she wanted a divorce, she wanted out of this hellish marriage, and MS took her down (Military talk) that same night.... You know, it occurs to me, that why don't we fight hard to give her a divorce, since she expressed that desire verbally before she went into this 'mysterious vegetative state'? We seem to give the weight of law to Michael's hearsay assertion that she said she wouldn't want to be kept alive like this. Her friends all say she wanted to divorce him, so...?
