The top networks are suffering through a lackluster fall season partly because "some of the programming just sucked," NBC's entertainment chief said on Tuesday.
NBC's Jeff Zucker, who has already canned two high-profile new series, said while networks question some of Nielsen Media Research's numbers this year, TV executives need also look in the mirror.

Hey - NBC! It's not just your fall lineup.
It's your news, documentaries, specials, . . .
(Still not as bad as CBS though.)

Maybe if they didn't try to milk every last penny out of tired old warhorses like "Frazier" and "Friends" they might be able to develop some quality shows.
That, and their liberal bias, especially in the morning, STINKS.
To: Happy2BMe
If they would air graduate level philosophy thesis presentations all day every day they might attract some serious viewers.

"Our programming is not that good and the Nielsen sample is bad. End of story," said Zucker..And he's still got a job? Hooray for Hollyweird.

It's a bid to keep his job. A public "mea culpa", cut a few shows, save a few million here and there until he knows his job is secure, then back to the sty for "new" ideas.

ABC's Threat Matrix started out pretty good. After 2 showings, it went heavily PC and overtly anti-GWBAdmin.
The networks are more concerned for their own agendas than for their audiences.
