Her own website makes NO claim that anyone diagnosed her as being in a persistent vegetative state (PVS). There is one article that states "From a near vegetative state just under two years ago, Kate has come a long way". This is a far far cry from the PVS diagnosis of Terri Schiavo. You are aware, are you not, that there were more doctors willing to state that Terri was NOT in a PVS condition, most not allowed to testify, then Felos used, in court? YOU DO KNOW that TERRI is NOT PVS, do you not? So.....neither was Kate, what is your point?

Sure, there were many who tried to express an opinion and were allowed to file briefs. Some seventeen or so filed amicus briefs, most through activist groups and many from out of state. I believe that they were deemed not relevant, and further, the Schlinders' did not raise this on appeal. I do know that even Dr. Hammesfahr, Shindlers' expert, would not state that he could restore Terri's cognative functions and agreed that Terri's cerebral cortex was irreparably damaged as did their second expert Dr. Maxfield.
