Agree. You think maybe Alan had the same thought?

LOL... then get a new one, it's esssential.

Be prepared for some oddities on JC's latest, it's not your run of the mill Cash cd, some strange song choices but it all makes sense now that he's dead. After you listen to it you realize, he knew he wasn't going to be here much longer.

Also be prepared to cry, his rendition of "Danny Boy" will rip your heart out.

I guess they didn't like "The Angry American"

His song was a huge hit, as was "Beer for my Horses" & "Who's Your Daddy"

You are right they stole Male Vocalist of the Year from Toby

Looks like Alan thought Toby deserved it...should have walked down to him and handed it to him and said "Courtesy of your red white and blue friends"

Dang. What a salesman you are. Walmart is open late so I might hit it after the show to pick up the CD.

Also, I am biased since I live in Austin....but...I think Pat Green's "Wave on Wave" should be on tonite. It's not some dumb beer drinking song. It's very reflective and he puts on a great show. I hope he makes it to the big time.

Cheers.

I just heard "Wave on Wave" for the first time yesterday and really liked it.

An Austinite huh? Don't know how you feel about him, but, Jerry Jeff Walker is THE man. Been a huge fan of him since the 70's. Some of his songs really hit home with me and he's my "healing" music when I need it.
