Thanks so much for the pings, RB.
Legal beagles, tell me: WHY is it so necessary to have a clear motive for the crime, when the evidence will (I believe) show that Scott's the murderer? They are saying that the prosecution shouldn't hang its hat on Scott killing for Amber. DUH. He did not kill for her. I agree there. But why would the prosecution HAVE to have a perfectly clear, wrapped in a silk ribbon motive?
We all saw the conviction of that Green River serial killer of the 45+ women yesterday. What is his concise, neat little motive? Not so easy, huh? We can't expect to always know why people do the things they do. And the simple fact that most married people who are murdered are killed by their spouses (right? I think I've heard this) means that familiarity must breed some kind of contempt.
I can see that Scott was used to being Mommy's Darling and probably had a desire to be adored by a female ALL THE TIME, and new blood probably made him feel more like Mommy always did. Also, most people don't sleep around or kill because of their considerations for others. Did anyone stop to think that narcissistic personality types do not consider other people at all? They are all bit players on the great stage of HIMSELF. Therefore murder is just one way to get something he wanted.
According to The Mindhunter, John Douglas, this kind of personality probably has killed before. I did not hear Douglas say that he thinks Scott has killed before, just that when you see this kind of presenting personality, it's a possibility. Especially since Scott seemed to have been so sure he would never be caught and now seems sure he won't be convicted. It's like he has gotten away with an awful lot already.

How about the mailbox? I always figured he left a payment there for Dirty and Skeeter! If the mailbox, then Amber drove to Modesto to pick it up? Hummmnn....

You can get Viagra over the Internet by filling out a quick little "have you ever had high blood pressure" type of questionnaire. They don't ask if you are now or have ever been a sex addict!

Any details from the NE article that you have would be appreciated. SO we don't have to read it in line. LOL.

Could be the mailbox. Could also be he left it with someone. Maybe the friend that first introduced him to Amber?

Yes, if only Lanza would read faster, I won't have to wear the dark glasses in the checkout line at Jewel like I did last week when purchasing NE.

I believe that Scott is a sex addict. Addicts will do just about ANYTHING to get their fix....including murder. How many crackheads have killed in order to get money or more drugs? Scott killed his wife because she got in the way of him scoring more women to have sex with. I hope he rots in hell.

O.K. you guys are so slick -- you caught me. I ordered some because it was supposed to help with thickening the uterine lining and I was having trouble conceiving. And (DH will kill me and drive me to the Berkeley Marina if he reads this) we tried it out the other way (!) but all it did was make him dizzy and nauseous, he did not need it anyway... (BLUSH) I still have a few of em around here -- they did not help me either.

Remember this quote of Scaughty's?
"Violence towards women is unapproachable," Scott Peterson said. "It is the most disgusting act, to me."
Wasn't that choice of words so strange? Unapproachable? Disgusting?
"Violence towards women is unapproachable," Scott Peterson said. "I had such trouble approaching Laci to do the deed, even with her out cold from the date rape drug. It is the most disgusting act, to me and I ought to know; I had to cart around her body for hours. Disgusting."
