I think half of the traffic on DU is conservatives trolling for entertainment value. I often wonder how the DUers will handle it if Bush is re-elected and the Republicans get real control of congress. Wouldn't take much to push many of these nuts from America-hating terrorist sympathizers to true blue terrorists. It happened to the Right with Tim McVeigh.

I havent scrolled past your post yet so I don't know if anyone has provided you with a link yet about Dean calling Bush "the enemy". I don't have a link, but I remember it clearly. He clearly and specifically called Bush "the enemy" and Rush played the clip on his show many times.

Fox should fire Ratner. It's hard to say why they haven't, since there are some "liberals" who are both more honest and less obnoxious then the Rat.
I disagree, Ellen Ratner is the embodiment of the Democratic Party's dark heart. She does nothing more than babble the sedition that the regular Rats dare not speak.
I say let the shrill, heartless commentary drone on;exposing her and her peers for the vermin that they are .

they are weak, they are cowards, they don't have any principals, they don't know what they believe, they don't have the guts to stand up for anything. Wait a minute.... Oh yeah. It's the 'Rats we're talking about, not the Republican Senate.

Unlike FR, DU doesnt have a search function available to everyone. You must be a donating member to get access to it so to search and find these things can be very very time consuming, and fruitless because of the maze their site is.
I would go over there and go to the General Discussion section and just starting going through it page by page if you have several hours available.

One other thing I notice about DU is that many stories negative to their ideology don't get posted at all. Here at FR, everything gets posted, good or bad. Much quicker response time too.

I'm not saying this represents anything but a radical fringe. Implying that liberals or Democrats support his kind of poison is absurd. In order: 1. The entire Rat party is driven by the radical fringe. ALL NINE of the assi-nines are Bush haters who would like nothing better than for Bush to fail in Iraq even if in means the deaths of THOUSANDS of Americans. 2. No, it's not absurd, it is reality. The sooner that he realizes that Rats are not merely an alternate political party and that they truly want to destroy the United States and reform it into a socialist utopia, the better off he ill be.

I only wish that we had the entire thread "screen shot" to post. The replies were just as bad as the original post. I can PM it to you, but if its posted here, its gets yanked as in post #9(and I understand why).
Just let me know.

If you want to see DU responses, go over there to GD and look for "DU mentioned on reich-wing radio". There are some that were offended but many simply say "F you cretin freepers" and defend the post.

Can you imagine getting up every day in this lady's skin----it must be awful. Her hate will destroy her if she isn't careful. What a way to go through life.
I have believed for a long time that to be a "good democrat" you must first be self-loathing. The next step is to project that self-loathing onto your society as a whole. It is natural, therefore, that they wish the destruction of their own country -- it is just extended suicide to them. Democrats are indeed a mental illness.

Dear Chris -
Thank you for your service to America. Today on FoxNews I watched a service for the 16 American military guys who were killed in Iraq. I cried really sorrowful tears. You should know that every time we hear of a soldier in Iraq dying it really tears at most Americans. Much of this feeling is because of TV and embedded reporters. It's almost like being in Iraq with our guys and gals. And thanks to FreeRepublic we were able to send e-mails of support and love to them. We received so many wonderful return e-mails from them (usually when they were returning from Iraq on battleships). What a bunch! They make us very proud - our military are truly great Americans - the best!

I've read the same message many times in the hate filled eyes of leftists. The impotent rage they manifest positively vibrates at this frequency. Do yourself a favor sometime and stir it up with leftist radicals - this woman is par for the course and slightly more honest than most.

Well it looks as if William Pitt has a conscience at least, as do most of the others (nondeleted) on the thread. Thanks for the link.

Andrew Sullivan's comment: I'm not saying this represents anything but a radical fringe. Implying that liberals or Democrats support his kind of poison is absurd. But this exists.
While most Democrats may not have this particular vocal hatred, I believe a similar hatred is widely distributed among the left. When an American dies, I truly believe that a significant percentage of the left silently, and perhaps even in the sub-conscious, thinks this for a moment: "Good."
I have no doubt that many have used the deaths of Americans to personally vindicate their own beliefs.
